  • hello all,

I haven't managed to do very much this month so far but have lots of things listed on the Facebook/gumtree/pre-loved, not been to lucky with the E bay listings I haven't received an invite so hoping the free listings will be back again soon. Not to sure what else I can advertise on to sell these items and make a little bit of extra cash.

Can't believe my car though it had to go to the garage last week and cost £132 now this week it wouldn't start and got to pay for it tomorrow £316 I cant wait to get rid of that awful car, wouldn't of been too bad if I wasn't now on long term sick due to bilateral foot surgery.

    sorry to babble on xxx

Little bit more to add, thanks to Quidco and the Asda price guarantee!

I don't know how you are all doing it though, halfway through the month tomorrow and i'm not halfway through my £5 a day challenge! Think perhaps I need to be more motivated to ebay things.

Scored some free train tickets for me and the boyfriend to go on a trip, courtesy of being held up on a train for ages last year and getting a load of vouchers. Oh well, that hold up almost seems worth it now :D
  • Use my £5 clubcard today in store at face value - had intended to boost it, usually do. But I was happy to get £5 off my shopping x

  • So I have been failing miserably here :/

But last week we did well with Tesco vouchers so adding their value here :)
We got £12 in vouchers from our points
We had a £10 off a £70 spend (our weekly budget for all 5 of us, inc 2 cats is £50 so we decided to use our vouchers and get a new kettle as the lid on ours has broken and you have to prise it open with a knife each time you want to fill it!
and we also had 2 little vouchers from their price promise; one for 68p and the other 72p (every little helps eh?)

So I am up to £23.40 if they count?

Almost 15% of my grocery budget there so I'm not poo-pooing that!

    Debt-free and Proud!
Yay - reached my income target for the month in 2 weeks - got another £100 from work done last week. In case I'm newly self employed and have no "fixed" income so have been using the challenge to get the minimum income I need for the month to cover our debt repayment plan - counting anything earned other than OH's salary.

Am going to continue - still don't know where the money for March and April is coming from so will see if I can get a head start on that!
  • A slow couple of days on the additional income front, but £3.00 to report from Pinecone this morning and all my eBay auctions are greening up now so Sunday should bring in something. Assuming the internet hasn't blown away or washed away in the meantime :)
