Hey that's great CP - it was worth the extra effort eh.
Just £1.50 today from surveys. Don't really feel I'm back to normal ??(well you know what I mean) after my hols. Keep thinking today is Sunday etc. :rotfl: Will have to give myself a good talking to and get back into some kind of order from tomorrow ? WED?? Just wish I some stuff to sell to make some money but I use everything I own, wear things for ever and don't have the skills to make saleable things. Oh well - sorry I'm rambling.
On 2nd day of trying to give up smoking - 1 cig today !
Hope you all staying safe and DRY
Lx
Are you counting the money you save on the ciggies? Will help both the challenge and the giving up! Good Luck!:TFeb £10 a day challenge: £728.50/£280
March £10 a day challenge: £79/£310March Grocery Challenge:£41.46/£7000 -
urgh.
£287 car repairs and £79 for 2 tyres today. My poor car. My poor wallet.
I seem to have lost my mojo in life, ive put a lot of the weight I lost on, ive used a lot of my savings on the car, im hugely behind on my course and in danger of failing and generally feel pretty pants.

I hate car repairs and maintenance!
Its ploppy when things seem to start getting on top of you, as it really pulls you down. Try and turn things on the flip side Nat. So, think of how much lighter you STILL are than before you started to loose weight, think about the progress that you have already made on your course and the work that has been completed, and at least with your car it is now ready for action and hopefully will be 12 months before anything needs doing again. Plenty of time to replenish those savings.
Maybe make a list of what course stuff you need to be getting on with and try and schedule in steps to progress every day rather than it being a huge "mountain". Good luck x
Oh.........and in terms of progress with this challenge I have added £2 saved bringing lunch to work yesterday. Steady progress with ebay listings. Got 17 things on there now. Finding the goal of "list 2 things a night" much more achievable as when I really can't face it I manage to drag my butt in gear to get 2 done. Off to attack a few surveys next...........:)0 -

Hope you start to feel brighter nat21luv, can feel your pain, really had to pay out a fortune last year, but I know I've dwelled on it too much, you've done amazing though on this challenge haven't you?
I had 2 ms booked today which would have earned me £20 before tax but I ended up cancelling them as my daughter wasn't too well so I couldn't justify leaving her, I'd been at work before anyway. I have been trying to do too much really, I am working hard at work and I think doing more mystery shops than the odd meal here and there may be too much to expect.
I sold a CD on Buy it Now for £3.49 on eBay, I put it on after seeing Ziffit would buy it for about £1, but it had no sleeve notes so they wouldn't have accepted it anyway. I have a buyer who hasn't paid me for a top from the weekend, I think I may open a case but not till after a week, it's for £1.29 so I don't think it will hurt to give the benefit of the doubt.
I used to be a British Gas customer and they sent me an energy monitor, I think about 18 months ago, I had never even opened the box, I have put it on eBay as I checked and these go for between £14 to £32, so fingers crossed for that!
I am shattered and counting the days until a short break next week.0
