thanks Hun, but Batgirl started this thread many, many, many months ago. over the time, several other people have taken over running the thread.
occasionally we can get Batgirl to pop in and say hello and see how her thread is going.0 -
hugs CP. Do you iron? I will swap your dark day for my ironing.
I have both dark day and ironing....:(
Someone changed their mind about a sale, still trying to chase up someone else from Monday who "definitely" wanted something that I was going to send to be repaired....so of course I didn't send it and now she has vanished.....grrrrrr
Still on a more positive note received an insurance claim for £544 today without any quibble for my skiing accident-not counting it towards this as it's covering costs that have gone out but yay!:T
Also got a lady coming to look at a £50 item I have for sale tomorrow so fingers crossed that will help with the no pounds today!
Hope no one has been badly affected by the weather-stay safe!Feb £10 a day challenge: £728.50/£280

Well done everyone - keep at it! Just checking in with £100 from paying guests and £5.25 Amazon Trade In. Some small ebay parcels have been posted but I'll add total when the funds are actually released. Also got my first survey-generated gift card on its way
and another small amount ready to pay out tomorrow. Thanks everyone for sharing your ideas on how to make those extra amounts. I've never tried to keep so many balls spinning at once but all these odd pounds really do add up! I had a lot of YS bargins tonight from the Co0p but it wasn't in things I planned to buy yet - I've spent from the food budget but won't be counting the reduction as savings in here...but I am overjoyed it happened! 10p for a big bag of grapes. We have FRUIT in the house! Hurrah!

A tip if anyone is selling large items on Ebay. I have started to use My Hermes couriers as they are really competitive price wise and very easy to use! Once registered you simply weigh your item, fill out the details, pay via Paypal and this gives you a label to print out and attach. The parcel is then collected usually 2 days later. We are able to leave it safely on the doorstep so don't have to sit in and wait. They cover 99% of the country. I think it helps if you can squeeze your postage prices right down-people will be happier to bid on your items! Would welcome any input from people who use other courier companies if they are cheaper than My Hermes-I know there are a lot of them about now!Feb £10 a day challenge: £728.50/£280

Hi everyone, just had post today and had a £10 love to shop voucher come through I ordered after finding 10 in my panelbase acoount I havent used for years so thats good. Didnt make any money yesterday as I dont know if any of you heard about the explosion in Clacton but it was right at the end of my road and it was my daughters friends house so spent most of day listening for news and sorting bits to donate, really is heartening to see how people all come together at times like this x0
