  • A colleague gave me a bottle of wine today for doing them a favour. Has saved me £5.19 on Saturday, which is when I normally buy my weekend treat!

  • Just excitedly rushed to the "We Buy Books" site-we have 1000s of books! They don't give you a lot per book though.... :( haven't got passed 15p for one yet! Think I will try elsewhere!

The most I got for one of mine was £3.60. Amazon would have given me four quid for it, but for the sake of 40p and having to faff about making up a separate parcel it didn't seem worth it. The rest probably went for between 70p and two quid, but I did get shot of two 15p ones. They were both MSE paperbacks that Martin Lewis had published a few years back. I did feel slightly guilty in reasoning that a lot of the info would be outdated and what wasn't could probably be found on the site anyway. For all of a millisecond - then I put them in the box, reclaimed my space and took the 30p :D

  • Morning all!

Thanks for the 'We Buy Books' tip I think that's my afternoon work sorted, also a nice little 5p earner on QMEE for the search!
