Meal Plan WB 27th January 2014

DH is away today until Saturday, and DS is at his dads until tomorrow so the food plan is basic over the weekend, and repetitive during the week as meals last longer :/

DS is having school dinners while DH is away :)

Saturday Lunch - DD1 - Chees, Crackers and Veg ME - Soup
Saturday Dinner - DD! Cheesy Falafels ME - Spicy Falafel, HM Tzaziki, Salad & Pitta (I wanted to try both kinds of falafel)

Sunday Lunch - Pea & Ham Soup & Rolls
Sunday Dinner - Cheese on Toast @ Mum's

Monday Lunch - Pea & Ham Soup
Monday Dinner - Chicken Korma

Tuesday Lunch - DD1 - Mini Toad in the Hole ME - Soup
Tuesday Dinner - LO Spaghetti Bolognaise w/ Salad

Wednesday Lunch - DD1 - Pesto Pasta ME - Soup
Wednesday Dinner - LO Chicken Korma

Thursday Lunch - DD1 - Mini Omelettes ME - Soup
Thursday Dinner - LO Spaghetti Bolognaise w/ Salad

Friday Lunch - Cheese on Toast
Friday Dinner - LO Chicken Korma

Saturday Lunch - DD1 - Cheesy Pasta ME&DS - Scrambled Eggs
Saturday Dinner - HM Fish, Chips & Mushy Peas

Sunday Lunch - DD1 - Mini Pizza ME, DH & DS - TBC
Sunday Dinner - Roast Chicken, Roast Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding & Veg

DD1 will have Toast and Cereal for Breakfast and fruit and HM Yogurt after lunch. Snacks are limited to 1 digestive biscuit.

DD2 - Milk again :)

DS will have cereal for breakfast and fruit and biscuits for snacks.

ME - Toast for breakfast

    We are having

    Sat - Tacos and salad
    Sun - Lamb roast with trimmings
    Mon - Chicken, squash and pesto lasagne
    Tues - Turkey and ham pie
    Wed - Chicken dippers and chips (I am out so for kids and DH)
    Thurs - Homemade pizza
    Fri - Homemade tomato and mascarpone sauce with pasta and garlic bread

    Bit poultry heavy but never mind.

  • trying to get back to sticking to a plan again. Freezer well stocked now with portioned chicken and mince in various guises. Still attempting 5:2 diet

    So

    Saturday - Lunch Falafel in Naan Bread, Tea - that traditional Scottish dish for Burns Night - Chilli and Nachos:rotfl:

    Sunday - Lunch - French Toast with Cheese and Tomatos, Tea - at parents :D

    Monday - Lunch - Pizza, aldi's with bits added, Tea - Spaghetti Bolognese

    Tuesday - 500KCal days for me - Lunch - chicken and leek soup, Tea - Crustless Quiche

    Wednesday - Lunch - Ham and Cheese sandwiches, Tea - Chicken and prawn Paella

    Thursday -500KCal day for me - Lunch - Ham and Mushroom Omelette, Tea - Chilli con carne, with Rice for OH and Cauliflower rice for me

    Friday - Lunch - Chicken wings with pickles, Tea - Turkey and bacon Doner-type kebab in naan bread

    Breakfasts and cereal, porridge and hopefully cinnamon toast, but I'll have to make it first.

    Hairy Bikers Smashed up chicken with garlic & chilli pasta

    Lemon & pepper fish & chips

    This weeks' baking experiment is pretzels!

    Need to defrost freezer asap, and am working lates all next week, so need to make meals incorporating stuff in freezer and things that I can reheat in the works canteen.

    Mon - LO lamb dinner plated up
    Tues - Tuna mayo, Salad & Jacket Potato
    Weds - Chili Con Carne & Rice
    Thurs - Christmas Chipolata Pasta Bake
    Fri - Thai Red Chicken Curry (from Freezer) & Rice
    Sat - Spicy Paprika Sausage Hot Dogs
    Sun - Birds Eye Breaded Cod Portion, Chips & Mushy Peas
    Mon - Chili Tacos & Salad (with LO chili from Wednesday)

    **Freezer will be defrosted next Monday**

    Here,s ours - the spuds/rice etc will be swapped for my meals as I,m steering clear of heavy carbs to loose weight.

    Sat - omlettes (eggs to use up)
    Sun - roast chicken and all the trimmings
    Mon - shep pie with swede mash
    Tues - chicken curry, rice etc
    Wed- BNS soup and HM rolls (no roll for me)
    Thurs - Sausage, egg and chips (celeriac chips for me)
    Fri - leftovers
    Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

    Monday - chicken pesto pasta salad, chicken in mushroom sauce
    Tuesday - chicken pesto pasta salad, chicken stir fry
    Wednesday - bagel with chicken and avocado mayo, thai turkey curry
    Thursday - turkey salad bagel, pork chops
    Friday - lentil soup, pork casserole
    Saturday - out

    need to make a big batch of soup today and might make muffins from frozen fruit from the garden but if just too tired it will be chocolate rice krispie cakes with raisins so not completely unhealthy!

    Wed - sausage meatball pasta (sauce from freezer, just need to cook pasta)
    Thur - chicken and chorizo jambalaya
    Fri - warm halloumi and puy lentil salad
