    Debt-free and Proud!
25th March 2015. So close, I can almost taste the takeaway i'll be able to afford for the first time in 2.5 years! 2 creditors paid off last month, another in November and one more in December then the final 2 to the finish.

    Mine is December 2015.

At one point it was April 2015, then December 2014, then I had a backslide.... I'd like it to be sooner than Dec 2015 though, so maybe I'll get to update that at some point! :)

Ok I am going to say it! I have avoided setting a date as I have been here so many times before but this time seems different somehow!

Anyway - will be under 15k by the end of Dec 2014, then will have 5 months to clear andother 4k (to get it paid whilst 0% intrest) then keep going at that rate with the CC that would be left for 5 months leaving me with just the loan - that ends August 2016 but aim to pay it off by Dec 2015 - so aiming for

    DEC 2015!!!

Now if i manage to get a PPI claim to come through it might be sooner! Fingers and toes crossed!

Snowball says July 2016 but aiming for dec 2015!
    Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
    Current debt - £5,935.00
Total paid off - £9,665.89 (61% paid off)
  • According to snowball should be October 2018.

However hoping it will be much sooner as we are selling up and starting fresh, so that should wipe some slates clean on the way!
Any help is always gratefully received.
  • Was supposed to be Dec 2014, but made a couple of bad decisions this year, so now hoping to be by my birthday Sept 2015, my greatest birthday present to my self!
