I appreciate what you say but business's don't breast feed. Others managed to place a notice stating they were closed or wouldn't dispatch between x and y dates. IMO my seller was just trying it on.

That sounds strange lol. Anyway, not all businesses have many staff, some are just one single person running the business by themselves. That person will have a life and things can happen, like having to go into hospital. It's not always possible to close a shop or get a message to someone if something has happened suddenly. In an emergency I imagine it's also the last thing on most peoples mind. Might not be the case with your seller but that doesn't mean it's never the case.

FYI I am a business. Maybe not one of these 30k+ feedback sellers but I only started in Oct. :D

This one has more than one member of staff so there's no need to defend or name them.

I wasn't defending them, I was simply pointing out that it may not always the case. You said businesses, not that one seller you dealt with. No one said anything about naming them?

Well being pedantic business's don't breast feed do they? So my post was correct. The female running it might though.

Technically if that female is the only one running the business they are the business. Without them there is no business so in that sense they do.

Bought something last wednesday, and it was marked as dispatched on thursday. Royal mail 1st class.

I contacted them Wednesday after it hadn't arrived, to which they replied it had been "processed" Friday so should be with me very soon.. Hmmm, so not actually dispatched Thursday then...

It turned up today with a Royal Mail 24 sticker on.

I'm pretty sure they forgot to post it and did so yesterday so it arrived today, but why not just say "I'm really sorry, we totally forgot to post it but have now done so"?

I mean, they'd already lied about dispatch!

    Tracked 24 or just 24?
if just 24 then its business 1st class

    It was just 24.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
