Make sure you gather the letters together and send the appeal with all PCN numbers on it, in time so it's received well within 28 days of the first NTK letter. I wouldn't waste several stamps on this scam if you can avoid it!
And yep that is the most nortily-worded type of sign as it looks like a contractual fee for parking but we know it isn't really because there is no daily rate and clearly it's meant to be (from the point of view of the landowner at least) a deterrent, not an agreement to park for that sum. It will be interesting to see if UKCPS just cancel when they see the template appeal asking for a VAT invoice for each and every 'charge' ! Amend the template in the NEWBIES thread to suit 'several charges'.
UKCPS will not be able to produce VAT invoices IMHO, at this site. They've just come up with a new sign wording I have seen a few times now, and they think they are big and clever for covering up the 'breach' word.
That very sign from UKCPS is partly what made me write the template first appeal with the bits about 'contractual fee' in it, plus suggestions from others re demanding a VAT invoice at the earliest opportunity. It should be interesting to see over the next few weeks which PPCs come up with VAT invoices.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Latest update:
Received a letter the other day saying that 'as a goodwill gesture' they are cancelling all the parking tickets currently associated with my car. Oddly they go on to warn me that my car currently doesn't have a valid permit and to ring them up to get one. This despite the fact that (a) they've already sent a new one to my letting company, who forwarded it to me and (b) at no point did I mention that I had an old permit and that the problems began because they had neglected to send out a new one.
All-in-all a great result so a huge Thank You to everyone for their assistance.0 -
Where are you going to stick the new permit? I hope you answer "where the sun don't shine".You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Hahahaha the template first appeal strikes again. UKCPS don't like it up 'em! SIX tickets cancelled all at once because they couldn't face the wasted POPLA money!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
