Got a parking ticket on Wednesday outside my flat even though I have permit

If it was a management company mistake, and they are the ones who engaged the PPC, I can't see for the life of me why you don't get them to ask for the tickets to be cancelled.
If they seem to be stalling, warn them that any charges and costs you incur will be passed on to them and if necessary, if their agent takes you to court, you will reciprocate.
Unfortunately I don't think they'd ever admit the mistake. They're saying that they sent my letting company the new permit in April 2013 and my letting company say they never received it. There's no proof either way. I've personally had no contact with the Block Management Company, only through UKCPS via the ticket and now the letter.
I wouldn't mind so much if the permit I had previously had an expiry date. Can't understand why it's only this year that I've had problems given the new permit was sent out last April.0 -
Have contacted the Block Management Company myself and they're going to get back to me. I'm guessing that now that UKCPS are involved they'll be the ones I'll have to deal with though and I'm not holding out much hope that the Block Management Company will be able to annul the fines.0

It doesnt matter if they dont. You can still beat themProud to be a member of the Anti Enforcement Hobbyist Gang.:D:T0

Exactly. And you'll end up costing THEM (the PPC) a fair bit of dosh (£27+VAT per PCN).0

Really appreciate all the replies and advice. Just glad there's somewhere I can tap into such knowledge. Have to feel for the poor souls that don't realise their options and will just pay for their own peace of mind.0

You can use the first appeal template in the NEWBIES thread (second from the top of this forum) and just write all six PCN numbers at the top. Get fee proof of postage from the PO counter (NOT recorded delivery) and post ONE letter first class to cover all 6, to save you stamps. TBH there's not much benefit waiting for every NTK to arrive, you may as well press ahead in your case in one go, so you don't miss any, but ask for SIX POPLA codes of course (adapt the template). You could also add that if there are any other Notices against this car registration that you have not seen as keeper, then you require this challenge to apply to all of them and for UKCPS to set out replies and POPLA codes for each & every charge (whether or not the PCN number is known to you).
Have you shown us the signage as UKCPS sometimes try to dress up their charge as a contractual fee to park? The template first appeal that I wrote for the newbies thread does cover 'contractual fee' and demands a VAT invoice just to set the cat among the pigeons, so make sure you use it!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Here's a (not very good) photo of the signs within the car park. Does it change anything with reference to how I should word my letter?

Hello bruirn - can you give us the wording alongside 'NOTICE' and the camera symbol please? Can't make it bigger. The Ones Who Know will surely say it's a net of lazy carp anyway, and irrelevant thus:-)
On what I can read, this from c-m:

- is right on the money.

Don't forget to insist on those POPLA codes, then check them against Parkie's guide:

No problem at all.
The bit next to the Notice says: 'A parking charge of £100 discounted to £80 if payment received within 14 days, which will be issued to your vehicle or through the postal service. Failure to pay may lead to court action which will incur additional costs.'
The bit next to the camera symbol says: 'This site may be monitored by camera technology and/or foot patrols for the purpose of ensuring compliance with the above terms and conditions of the car park. We may apply to the DLVA for vehicle keeper details.'
Think I'll add to the letter that the block management company neglected to send me a new permit.0
