  • Deltas! Marks and Spencer potato (I think) snack in thin triangular shape and dangerously salty! Had to eat whole pack in one go every time.

Proper old fashioned Pears soap, the modern one doesn't smell as nice :(

There's a perfume too that I used to love called Mystere by Rochas, that's been withdrawn, probably due to that safety elf, grrr.

Sainsbury's used to do an own brand silk shampoo and conditioner, wish they would do it again, my hair was wonderful when I used it, nothing now comes near.
Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j

Milky Lunch chocolate bar (a bit like a Milky Way but much chewier)

    Jamboree bags

Tudor brand mint sauce-flavoured potato crisps (made in Chester-Le-Street, I think)

McGowan's Highland Toffee (probably still available up in Scotland. I do hope so).

I can't remember the last time I saw aniseed balls.

Or those Hovis bread-rolls shaped like a miniature loaf

Tudor crisps - with Terry the paperlad... You can still get aniseed balls - in Chester le Street and other nearby towns! lol

Kerrygold cheese triangles, similar to dairylea but much creamier!

Seems all they do these days is butter or sliced cheese.

Heinz Potato/Vegetable salad – a 70’s salad just wasn’t the same without it.

Mint Spangles – Murray Mints were a reasonable substitute but just not quite the same.

Butterfly Brain – I think McGowans went into administration a couple of years ago so no more of the original ‘coo candy’ :(
