I take it the code does not work if you want Sky TV also. i seem to be going round in circles, dont know what to do for the best!0

Checkout the cashback deals at the usual cashback sites. They may be better than the farce code.0

Unlimited broadband for under £13 a month, great bargain! Thanks MSE
I also already have a phone line so don't understand why I need to pay £20 for the phone line. I have checked availability and my LLU exchange is enabled for Sky ( I am currently with Talk Talk ) I wonder if anyone can explain this for me? And what would they have to do??
This makes it £14.30 a month - not quite such a brilliant deal, Talk Talk is charging £13 month without calls ......0 -
I read the 'if you are new to sky' as meaning a new broadband customer, but I guess that they must mean any Sky product.
Am I right in thinking that no existing sky tv customers have been able to use the code?I seldom end up where I wanted to go, but almost always end up where I need to be0 -
I spent over 2 hrs on the sky website trying to get the deal,i kept coming back to a page with 3 fone numbers to contact sky, first number foned did not have a clue and talked me through the process I,d already been doing!,she advised she couldn't help....next fone number.....he knew straight away what prob was,i was a customer 4 yrs ago and was still on their files, this was stopping code working, got it all sorted in minutes....whey hey!.thanks mse!0

fone sky, they sorted mine in minutes,my service is due to start 7/2. ssssoooo glad as Tesco had just emailed me with a price rise on my home fone and broadband.sorry never kept fone number sure it.ll be on here or sky website.good luck!Has anyone had any luck.
I haven't at all.
Am hoping they will honour the codes and we will somehow be able to use them. It is quite frustrating as thought I was lucky to get a code but unable to use.

Been trying again this evening it appeared to work once asking me if I was an existing Sky customer for TV so I clicked yes then it reverted the page back to the insert code page and said code not recognised.
Now talking to an advisor online and they have just told me again "I advice you to contact MSE regarding the Offer code as you got the code from MSE." So I have said MSE advising me to contact Sky! The advisor then went on to tell me about their 'normal' existing offers. So have just gone along with that for price comparison but their site isnt allowing me to upgrade for some peculiar reason so will try again tomorrow.
Failure is only someone elses judgement.

I would try clearing your cookies from your browser and trying again. I don't recall that when I went through the process online it asking me if I was an existing Sky Customer (I'm not).
I've just looked back at the wording of the Money Tips email and the article that detailed the offer. It does say if you are 'New to Sky' or a 'Sky Newbie' then the offer is available to you. As you already have a Sky product then you probably will not be treated as a new customer.
The other reason could simply be that 2000 people could get the offer out of the 3000 codes released and that they've reached that limit.

I must have been in the first 1,000 as I applied for the code the moment it was launched online Thursday 1pm.
The offer I have as an existing customer with sky is very similar I think with 50% off for 12 months (or 6 months with the new fibre upgrade) and line rental is £15.50 I am not entirely sure how much the MSE offer was meant to be but thats a good deal.
The only thing I did find out was I have been unable to upgrade or switch in the past because since 2006 there has been an uncleared engineer call for a home move on the account why is a mystery as we moved here in 2005 and dont intend moving and never have! The advisor says he has now removed this so I should be able to apply.Failure is only someone elses judgement.
