Entering "family holiday" comps w/o children

There are a few comps on the board for family holidays. I don't have kids, so if I entered and won any ideas as to whether I'd be able to still take up the prize?
(this of course ignores the issue of whether this sort of comp should be left to people with families given how many holiday comps are for just 2 people!)

Thanks to all OPs and everyone who helps/posts etc!!:T

You would have to read the t and cs of each comp, see if they mention anything about only being able to take children or if it could be swapped for a different holiday or not.
Even then it would be up to the promoter/provider to yay or nay it.
Probs best to not bother with them. I have children but never bother as my kidsare too old now63 mortgage payments to go.

Should depend on the T&C's although just being a "family" holiday can be enough to refuse.

There was a thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4820453 about someone who had issues claiming one, There was a comp years ago about driving to eurodsiney and someone had issues claiming as they had no kids to drive in the car there. Totally up to you if it's worth the hassle.#JusticeForGrenfell0

I think with that one it didn't mention "Family Holiday" on the competition entry page and/or in the T&C's which makes it a bit harder to limit it.0 -
Each individual comp will have its own T&Cs. Some state clearly that it is for "2 adults and 2 children under 12" for example, whereas others are a bit hazier and just call it a family holiday.
It's up to you whether or not you enter. Personally if I had no kids, I wouldn't, but that's my choice... The worst that could happen is that you win but aren't allowed to claim the prize, the best is that you could win a free holiday.0 -
Thanks for the info! Think I'll give them a miss. Thanks to all OPs and everyone who helps/posts etc!!:T0
