Hi all
Not been a very productive day today but who cares! We've had lots of lovely hot sunshine and then a big rumbling thunderstorm today as well as lots of jets going over which doesn't happen too often. I can only assume that Our Boys are on their way to deliver aid and help to the Middle East. Here's hoping they all come back safe and help many while they're there.
I'm off to watch Long Lost Family and alternate between crying & shouting at Davina to stop talking to camera when driving!
Have a good day tomorrow everyonexx

Hiya Sassy,
Did you get round to doing the car boot in the end?3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Morning Trixxibell
Yes we did do the carboot and we made a £50 profit which was brilliant as it was rubbish weather and there weren't that many people there.
I've now got a few bags of clothes to go to one of those clothing places that buys them, a few books & dvds to go on eBay and a box of stuff left over that I'm not sure what to do with.
This money is paying for a few days away this week which is also ace as it means I don't have to take the money out of the bank. Not sure if I've mentioned but I messed up my mortgage payment last month and have had to find the extra money this month. Genuine mistake but a really annoying one.
Have a great day!xx

Hi all
Not been on here properly for a while as our few days away ended up as an impromptu week! This has left me a bit short for a few days but the whole week came in at just under £100 so can't really complain.
Have got to get Littley new school clothes though which is frustrating. She has 2 sets of clothes and shoes but has grown enough for the first lot to be too small but not enough for the new ones to fit - how frustrating!! It's really tough buying her clothes when she's not with me as although she's now 9 sometimes she's in age 8 clothes but then sometimes they're still too big. Her favourite shorts are age 4-5yrs! The new uniform that doesn't fit was actually bought last year so one year I won't have to fork out for new clothes lol.
Well, she's hollering me so best get going. Have a good weekend everyone!xx

Hiya,
£50 profit is better than nothing. Xx
With three little ones I can understand the school uniform drama. Hope you get it sorted, I'm glad most trousers and skirts come with the adjustable waists and I'm so thankfully for wonderweb lol xx3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Hey hon
Got Littley's school uniform from Matalan yesterday and got 4 shirts, a pair of shoes and a skirt for only £22 - bargain! I'm so chuffed as she's grown into an age 6 size so this means I still get to pay the slightly lesser price. Silver lining and all that. Her pe kit still fits, she's got bags to use so all I need to get now is a new lunch box. I'm trying to fight this as the one she has is still fine but stupidly I promised back in March thinking her's would need replacing or she'd forget - totally wrong on both fronts and she knows if I say the word promise I mean I'll do it, good or bad!
Have got an extra few quid from a new client that I got last month and have also got an extra few hours a week from another client starting next week. This should give me and extra £100-£150 a month which is really helpful atm. I've not put any money into the holiday fund over the hols which is bad but understandable. I'm going to get back on a level footing and start again but more so.
I also want to ensure I budget for Christmas and I aim to get everything before end of November. I have 8 birthdays I need to include in this too, something I forget every year! After the experiment for Littley's birthday this is very achievable. Will put the budget on here when I've worked it out.
Have a great weekend!xx

Hiya Sassy,
What a great bargain on the school uniform!
Congratulations on the new clients too.
I've started to think of ideas for Christmas too, it's hard with birthdays close to Xmas. So budgeting seems like a good idea.
Is your signature uptodate yet missy? lol xx3rd LBM July 2014: Debt [STRIKE]£31,416.68[/STRIKE] Down To: [STRIKE] £23,403.43[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]15th July: £25,709.83[/STRIKE] 26th March: £31,229.68

Hi hon
Ok, I've bitten the bullet and updated my signature and admit that I didn't want to do it as I have a new debt to includeHowever, unlike my other debt this was a necessity as it was for my laptop which I need for work. I realised I hadn't actually updated anything since March and I've now realised that:
cc1 - is going down
cc2 - don't have latest figures
cc3 - gone up slightly
cat1 - also gone up slightly
cat2 - reduced limit, going down quicker as paying more towards this
cat3 - new debt for laptop
While this is slightly depressing I'm also really chuffed as the ones that did go up only went up by a few pounds rather than hundreds - which was normally the case!
In March I lost 2 contracts, a total of £400 a month, and haven't been able to replace them properly. I've been doing bit work and have earnt £577.83 since then which 5 weeks worth of work so it's been a bit of a struggle (this includes ebay sales & car boot) so the small amount my debts have gone up is ok with me. I know that sounds like I'm making excuses but I'm not, it's just fact.
Anyways, I'm off to earn a bit more money and at least I won't get nagged at to do my signature any more! lol
Have a great day!xx

Evening all,
Noticed today that my half price line rental is up this month so gave Sky a ring and after nearly an hour on the phone managed to get a few discounts plus a credit to my account. Monthly bill gone down just over a tenner a month with a saving of £170 over the year (including the credit!).
To say I'm happy is an understatement!
Have a good nightxx

Evening everyone
First day back at school and Littley was so keen to get going it was lovely to see. I kept myself uber busy so I wouldn't miss her but I did a bit
Got my first walk to school payment done though so that's a start. Feel a lot better already knowing that's going to be happening each day. Have also done an extra shift today, only a couple of hours but every little helps and all that. Have also got a mystery shop to do tomorrow so that's another £8 for the coffers.
That's all for today.
Have a good eveningxx
