Iphone 5 faulty after 14 months on T-Mobile - Consumer Law?
Hi just an update on this thread. Following advice from Which consumer lawyer (i was member of Which). I issued County Court proceedings against Phones4u. After dragging it out for as long as they possibly could, they paid me a week before we were due to go to Court.
I am posting this as it may help anybody else having the same sort of problem. I was helped by other forum members with useful advice.
Hi Lizzie,
It may be useful for others if you state how much it cost you in court fees altogether and whether P4U reimbursed you.
Yes, it cost me £50.00 in court fees for claim for repair on the phone £200.00. All fees were paid by Phones4u. I am not sure whether I had a winning claim or the distance (i live in South of Uk) influenced this payout, but you need to be prepared to be very firm in your stance.
