Why do BT only carry 2 of the Sky Sports channels? Won't BT pay the wholesale prices that TalkTalk pay or something?0

They want to promote their own heavily subsidised product. That why BT broadband an phone services are the most expensive .That gum you like is coming back in style.0

But they only carried the two channels before BT Sport launched and used to make a big song and dance about having Sky Sports 1&2, just seems really weird that they don't carry them all.
I'm sure they would get more market share if they had Sky Sports 1,2,3,4,F1 and News along with BT Sport 1&2 and ESPN.
It would make a pretty impressive sports package.0 -
It would also be a pretty expensive one too.egrescrimp wrote: »

Sky are only obliged to wholesale SS 1&2 to third parties. They choose to offer more to VM and TT through commercial agreements that suited them. But Sky don't like BT so thats all they get.
And the two are in the Courts right now, with BT fighting to get SS 1&2 onto YouView because Sky said they wouldn't allow it. They're having a bit of a spat shall we say.0 -

I'm sure Sky have worked that out too, and therefore won't be selling BT the crown jewels at any price!I'm sure they would get more market share if they had Sky Sports 1,2,3,4,F1 and News along with BT Sport 1&2 and ESPN.0
