supermarkets were giving the stuff away - almost - recently.
mostly uk brewed stuff sadly. Difficult to get a quality lager at a discount these days.We all evolve - get on with it0 -
I love beer but I can't stand British-brewed versions of continental lager, which not only don't taste the same but give me a headache that I usually put down to chemicals etc. I know that a lot of European countries - well, Germany for one! - have strict purity laws stipulating what ingredients can go into beer. Why can't we have the same? German beer is superb and puts ours to shame. Czech beer is excellent, too, and even Italian (Peroni) and Dutch beers taste miles better than ours.
I love quality real ale - like Spitfire, Bombardier etc. - but can't stand our mass-produced, additive-laden junk, whether it's bitter (like Boddington's) or lager, like Carling, Foster's or UK versions of Stella, Carlsberg etc.0 -

All of what you say is true. There is some real rubbish about, cheap, but still rubbishWe all evolve - get on with it0 -

Theres alot of stuff on there but im after bottles tbh, ill pop down asda coz they've got 3 for £9 of 4 pk bottled lager/beers and ive seen 12 bottles of brahma for £10 in tescoNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20 -
be warned, brahma is branded as if its imported but its uk brewed so is not worth the same as imported such as corona or bravara. I only buy it when its on deal like sainsburys/morrisons £5 or 12 a couple of months ago. If you get a voucher code for tescos or asda they usually have a deal on corona (2 x4 for £7 or 2 x6 for £9), my last order worked out at just under £13 a case (24), hard to beat if you like the lager.0

I had that for the first time in Nando's on Sunday. It was a choice of 'Portugese' or 'Brazilian' beer, so, having had Portugese before, I went for the 'Brazilian' Brahma. It was brewed in Luton and was horrible. I ended up adding Sprite to it to make shandy.
And it was £2.95 for 33cl.0 -
Having a bit of a bash tomorrow so wondered if there any bargains to be had.
No preference re lager/beer so anything goes.
Cheers ( excuse the pun !! )0 -
When i first tried brahma which was last year it tasted nice but ive had a few packs this year and it seems to taste different, could be me i guess,
