I do want to understand why else would I post I will just be accepting as I seem "too thick" to possibly get a different outcome

Do you have a question that hasn't been answered or do you still not understand your response or what you should do next?

If you look back through the thread the answers should be there, if it's not ask.
My username refers to my enthusiasm for 'asking the stupid question' I don't think you're stupid!

I thought the normal advise was if you are turned down try again, no curl up and roll away?

No sufficient evidence , I just don't get it when I supplied the same as the one that they proved to be missold . Surely they must know what sales pitch were being given to customers at this time .

The information you provided on the second loan may have been sufficient for them to trace records and accept the claim but perhaps they couldn't do so with the older loan.

All I wanted was some help but I feel everything I have said or asked has been be littled. Maybe it was a weak complaint I don't no but from my point of view I couldn't understand why one had been paid and one not. I don't understand it really hence posting on here ......
read posts 2 and 3, you have been given an answer already. read and digest.

also insurance regulation came in Jan 05, so if there was a sale after then it was a different sales practice. bear that in mind.

if you dont agree with decision refer it to FOS.

Early on rejections were common and that was probably the best thing to do. However, nowadays, the handling is better and you need to look at the reasons for you complaint, the reasons for rejection and your evidence to support your complaint and whether you feel the rejection is logical or not. If you disagree you go to the FOS.
