I've been asked for proof of NCD from the same company I was going back to after getting the policy cheaper via the normal means on here.


I sent them the renewal they sent me and was told that they couldn't accept that??


Due to the many issues I normally have with car insurance renewals over the years I happened to have all of my paperwork to prove 7 years worth barring I one from LVA who actually have the info on the website so could obtain it.


Anyway I pointed out to them that they were my insurers for the past year and that they'd been sent proof the previous year of the rest of my NCD so the only thing I had was their renewal letter, which I sent again with the letter....And they suddenly decided it was fine??


The next year they were still the cheapest. This time I included a letter with my paperwork pointing out that I didn't want to play any silly games this year and got a letter of apology and everything went through without issue.
