I believed this to be a free forum? Read what I originally wrote and put yourself in the shoes of a land owner who's having their rights obliterated by those that think they are above it....
I have never yet heard anyone object to a genuine landowner who wanted to protect his property from abuse by the general public "parking where they feel like it".

The problem is that the so called "parking industry" is being run by people who could not care less about best practice in car park management. What they do care about is lining their pockets and are prepared to employ very dubious, and in in many cases downright dishonest tactics to extort money from people using the parking facilities as they should, and not abusing them in any way.

The parking fraternity have only themselves to blame for the somewhat tarnished reputation of Parking Companies. This is why people like yourself, who have need to prevent abuse of private land need to think twice before getting into bed with the devil.

Apologies to the OP for contributing to the hijacking of your thread.

thanks redX ive just been through the links you provided , no mention of that specific company but very usefull
    thanks

not true at all, they all mention that company smallclaimsservice etc, some even have pictures of the letters those people received

just because they may not be the same PPC doesnt mean its not the same debt collector , we are getting lots of them now, those in there may be just a few of them so you could see that others were getting them and to see what advice was offered

    I suggest you look again

    You're welcome.

I presume you realise I'm talking about YOUR posts (and related replies)?

Not really sure why my posts were offensive tbh? Although I appreciate I'm on the wrong side of the coin. Apologies for that, guess I took my own personal circumstances out on someone else....delete me if you wish I don't really care. Perhaps there should be a pro land owner forum? who knows........it is a tiny bit of land though and I guess I felt I could vent on here....wrong spot though, so again......apologies. Hope OP gets it sorted

i was just trying to find out if anyone new of this smallclaimsservice.co.uk
or knew if it was still part of ukpc and debt recovery plus ?
its 15 months old now how long will this last ?

they have up to 6 years to take it to court , but no idea how long they keep it up before doing so or dropping it

at the moment there seems to be a big push on with old cases , possibly due to the successes owners and drivers are having at popla and at court with more recent ones

this company is featuring daily on here at the moment

as can be seen here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4870010

I agree, a lot of people who come here deserve to be "fined" for their own stupidity, or wanted disregard for others' property, but not £100. Most people would pay up if it was a choice between paying £10.00 or going to cour, but it is not.

I have a parking space in the town centre, 2 minutes from a multi story car park, but people still park in my space, of which I own the leasehold. I am tempted sometimes to let a tyre down, but know that that would be a criminal offence.

Thanks, The Deep, glad someone agrees with me but I think we have encroached on somebody else's thread so perhaps we need to take elsewhere. I still stand on the point that people need to take responsibility re their choices. Don't do anything illegal though, just wouldn't be worth it. We need to be law abiding citizens......
