What Law would that be ?........

Do you think the parking scammers will :
A; manage the car park and stop unwanted people parking.

B; try to encourage as many as possible to park on your land so they can use the contract they fooled you in to signing to make millions of pounds a year out of you and your land.

HMMM, have not thought this through have you...DOH !

Since you seem to be an authority on this perhaps you can fill me in? All I know is that I am having problems with people thinking, despite signs, they can park on my private land. I'm not really an individual with excess financial means.....so where does that leave me? Be interested to know??

The only people they could encourage onto my land would be who.......exactly?

I gave you a link to a thread containing 4 more links on this company and the recent letters

as for your thread title, its not come from the PPC, its come from the debt collectors they have given it to , so your thread title is misleading

plenty of advice was given in those threads I linked you to, I also expect to see more and more of the same issues in the coming weeks as these DC companies are looking at old pcn,s once more

I've never posted here before but this post has incensed me, however I do find it a very valuable place for lots of reasons. But, it really isses me off when there are individuals condoning breaches of law. We hire these companies to do a job that for what ever reason.....we can't.

    That is simply not true
    1. There are no laws being broken, except the PPCs breaking contract law.
    2. I have read a lot on these forums, and never once have I seen abuse of parking facilities being condoned.

Yes here it is ( )

    Hmm, there is not one.
    Fence the land off.

The parking scammers will be sipping champaign on a yacht and your land will have more than ever parking on it with its nice shiny "car park" signs with hidden small print.

You will get nothing, other than dragged to court for questioning when the parking scammers try it on.

Gosh....will take me all night to read that...

I hope their yacht's have parking permission in the harbours they visit? There is NO hidden small print in my signs, I vetted them. All above board and completely legal, just saying

I believed this to be a free forum? Read what I originally wrote and put yourself in the shoes of a land owner who's having their rights obliterated by those that think they are above it....
  • I use a number of car parks on private land and none of them use a private parking company and none of them have any problems. They have barriers and ticket machines. Simple really.

The other posters are correct. The PPC will use your land to make money for themselves and they are used to the hassle that arises.

    I suspect you aren't.

    Actually, contractual penalties are unlawful.
So not off to a good start...

The reality is that no parking abuse happens anywhere on retail parks etc, people are invited onto land by service providers, these shysters invent rules to trip people up deliberately!

Ask yourself this, why is this company offering for free their services? How can you get something for free? Well the answer is that these companies make a majority of their money from legitimate users of sites, there is not enough people who truly abuse car parks to even keep one of these companies in business.

And honestly if you have land you cannot afford to maintain or invest in, I suggest you seriously look at selling up, it's like buying a door for a house but can't afford a lock for it! You need to invest to secure your property.
