Nationwide moaning because I haven't used my card

I got a Nationwide Select credit card to use when on holiday, going to Italy in June :j Just had a letter from them that they noticed I haven't used my card yet. Considering I have a Capital One card that pays 1% against their .5% cash back, I only got it for using abroad. I suppose I could buy my £1 bottle of milk from…

My Nationwide credit limit is £2000 and I am going to be paying £3000 for a cruise.

My Capital One limit is £7500.
And my wife's Tesco card is £4500.

I shall use my Nationwide card to pay the deposit of my cruise.

I've already paid for my Italian holiday..

As stated in my OP, I only got the Nationwide card for spending abroad, not for everyday spending.
