anyone bored... want to help me pick apart and plan for a viewing on this tomorrow?

hi all

we have lots of options for our next house when ours sells (see other threads for the challenges there) but i've got a viewing to see this one tomorrow, and i want to ask people's opinions/tap into knowledge, as i have none really lol....

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-28373061.html

- see the floor plan - it looks like there's a patio door in the living room but cant see it on the pictures - wonder why this is
- could you add balcony doors on the main bedroom? i cant believe they havent done so already!
- looks like a basic refresh needed throughout to bring it up to date and a new kitchen (looks perfectly functional for now)
- worried at the lack of bathroom pics, suggests a green suite haha

interestingly this is the same agent as me, there must be more than one photographer haha!

xx

I love the garden and the views, but sorry I think the house itself is horrible.
  • seeing which way around the floors are has totally put me off! lol

ooooh the views are lovely (sorry not much help!) :)
  • they are indeed - we used to live down the road from this house so fully appreciate the views. the concept of sleeping 'downstairs' is freaking me out a bit lol but i'm a big believer in viewing things if they tick boxes.

OK - So I'm a bit bored too so have had a quick look. ;)
I was a bit confused also with which way round the floors are. I guess you'll get a fee for if you like that or not when you view later.
Once the furniture is removed it looks like you'll be left with a neutral blank canvas so you'll be able to redecorate as and when you can. At first glance it looks like it's been well maintained - the garden looks neat even in January so it would appear the current owners look after the place.
Only question I would ask would be about traffic noise - there is a road at front and back so if the main one is busy that would put me off personally. Also theres a bit of green space around you - lovely unless it's going to be developed in the near future.
If you have kids I'd be asking about the local school too - as there seems to be only one.

    Enjoy your viewing :)

No Parking, if it is basement & ground what is above it? It looks to be 2 story or is that because the house is on a hill?

Very confusing & yes, the house itself is fuggers.
I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

  • quidsy, i did a bit of Streetviewing last night. The ground level is the top level, and theres a garage which attaches to next door's garage. then you have to go downstairs for the bedrooms. it is on a legendary hill (in the olden days when i had a 1 litre car i used to struggle slightly visiting my friend lol)

if nothing else, will be good to test the agent, see what hes been doing to viewers of MY house, and allow him to have a preview of my opinion of them, before i leave lol.
