From OPs first post:
The control lights were out and a car opposite was flashing me to come but it was dark and I couldn't see anything. The car behind beeped me and in my fluster I went through the camera at about 34-35 and it flashed me.0 -
As has stated a couple of times, photogrammetry can be used.Rodney_Trotter wrote: »Without white lines what other secondary checks can be done?0 -

Never said they were offences. But as it isn't possible to get points (except in very rare occasions of equipment malfunction etc.) by driving with care and compentence, whilst being fully aware of and responsive to the road situation, and with a good basic understanding of the laws which are are expected to adhere to as a road user. So someone with 9 points, and several speed awareness courses from my reading of the thread, and possibly further problems to come is probably doing something wrong rather than just being extremely unlucky...
We can all make mistakes - I certainly do - but because I work very hard to try and ensure I drive as above, those mistakes are usually very small. In 22 years of substantial mileage I have never received points, been stopped, or had an accident. There is an element of luck, but there is a very large part of skill, care and good decision making within it as well.0 -

Points then.0 -

Or if all 9 points are were less than three years old at the date of the offence, a 6 month ban is highly likely.
Still if the indicated speed was only as OP believes they may well get lucky.0 -

So what? You went from a standing start to near 40mph in a few meters?
Or where you just pottering along slowly?
Sorry, this doesn't seem to match up.
I'd get over on pepipoo for some advice especially if you admit being on a course before as that option is gone. What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0 -

Any help please - cos i'm absolutely bricking itCuddlybearman wrote: »Would i still get a course if i'm on 9 points?Cuddlybearman wrote: »2 weeks of stressing out though - just found out my last speed awareness course was April 2011.......... :0(
I agree with Lister.
I hope you get a ban and are not allowed back on the road until you learn how to drive sensibly.
You don't appear to have learned anything from your previous offences and speed awareness course or courses.0 -

I thought you could only have 1 course0 -

And 9 points? You didn't learn much on the course did you. I hope you don't live near me. Sorry to be so unsympathetic but you are clearly a serial speeder and should be off the road.0
