That's really good Thistlewhistle, but really cheeky of the insurer (considering insurance premiums have gone down almost everywhere in the UK over the last year!)
Was that cheaper than last year?0 -
Good stuff Thistlewhistle
that way you're making OP's each month without even trying! That car insurance quote is ridiculous, what do you drive a Ferrari? !

Hi edinburgher,
No it was more expensive, and I have 6 years no claims!!
Basically I live in the staged accident capital of the world, where unscrupulous brethren park their cars on the other side of humped back bridges, just pull out in front of you, or slam their brakes on in front of you because an empty crisp packet ran out in front of them.
Then when the claim goes through, there were 97 of them in the car, all sustaining life threatening whiplash, the car was written off (presumably as it was being driven away at speed) and required repairing on a scale the likes of which Boeing would balk at.
Ironically, if I lived at OH's house, my premium would be the cost of a first class stamp!:mad::mad:

Morning all,
Loads of work to do today although surprisingly I actually have the time to do it - nothing at all to get in the way!
It's month end and I have to prepare all my figures and do my reports to send off to my manager, then I have to plan for the next 4 weeks. I quite like month end, especially in January when I get to see how many lovely new members we've welcomed into my Team's SW groups in January. At the end of last week, it was 810 so I'm hoping it'll reach 900 when I add this weeks figure in.
Great results will mean team earnings this month of at least £500 added to a good result from my own group. This'll be welcome as I have a huge credit card balance thanks to my tax bill paid on Thursday.
Just starting the day with a bowl of porridge and a cup of tea, whilst listening to the morning service on radio 4, then I'll begin.......Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200

I remember when I did this, I upped my payments by about £100 and took 7 years off my mortgage a couple of years ago, that was a great feeling. My interest back then started at £430 a month!
My interest is now around £67 a month and its amazing seeing that go down. As I have grew to see my OPs are steady I have upped my payments again by another £165! because this way I slightly get around my 10% limitthough it is scary to have that much money go out in one go! My MPs went from £594 to £878 eventually, dont think I could risk £1000 although I do still OP over that most months, its my choice
Good Luck with yours. (I too wondered what group relief was but I thought it was a support group)
