Thanks for the encouragement. Norfolkdream. I'm sort of battling on two fronts simultaneously as I'm overpaying on the mortgage and paying of CC debt at the same time.
I must consolidate that CC debt onto an empty card at 0% again. Half of it is at 0% at the moment but this expires on 25th February.
I know I'll be paying 3% (about £120) to do this but it'll be much cheaper in the long run as I can afford to pay off £4k in 3 months!!
That's the price I'm paying for not saving enough for the tax bill!!
On the positive side though, our holiday to Cornwall is not expensive as we're staying in free accommodation (friend's cottage) and OH's work have given him a little bonus which should cover the majority of the expenses.Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200

Woah!
That's just knocked 7 years 10 months off. That MF in July 2034. Still along way to go to beat my target of December 2021 (my 50th). I reckon I'll have to overpay by £700 / month:eek:Mortgage at end 05/2007: £90200

Great stuff Thistle :T.
As of next month we'll have to pay over 3k a month to knock a month off  so our date won't change much :rotfl:.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
