    I ask you!

OH just came back from the C00p and said that they were selling bottles of C0ke for £1 or two for £2.50
He pointed this out to the shop assistant who, as far as we are aware, is still in the shop trying to work out what OH was getting at.

He had to buy one, pay for it, and then buy the other so he could save the 50p

  • Morning (evening) Thistle, your OH sounds like a keeper :D

    I'm a Pepsi Max girl myself :)

Love the coke buying incident. Doesn't it drive you mad sometimes  Mr T bought a suit years ago - the offer was 20% off - he decided to go mad and buy two  the young assistant took 40% off - Mr T did try to explain that this was wrong but the guy said no, it's 2 x 20% which equals 40%. He whipped out his CC, paid and legged it.

I'd have been tempted to buy another 4 and then get a 20% refund :rotfl:

  • Morning all,

It's OH's birthday today and so I'm off out to buy his present - not his main present, but just a little something to open when he comes round for dinner this evening. Unfortunately, he's having to work all day today which is a little disappointing but these things happen. Still, we'll have a lovely meal, just the two of us, which will be nice.

When I get back from T3sc0, I'm going to put the final touches to my budgeting spreadsheet and update my signature so the dog can see the rabbit!

It's going to be a lovely day of pottering round and tidying up.
