All's well with both, and her mum and dad are over from France to keep things ticking over, so it's a good family week
Two finance-y bits to report:
- just bought a rail ticket to Merseyside, thank heavens for the railcard, is all I can say!
- had the quote through from the builder, I'm going to accept it, so there's lots of work to be done. And I *am* getting all party wall alcoves soundproofing, which is a good 20% of the cost - and also means an awful lot of stuff will need to be shifted around, three rooms are affected! I'm already starting to faff around the edges of that one
