Yes, I do thanks, beanie - I took the afternoon off after I finished, and actually picked some more blackberries locally - there's one bush in particular thats loaded down with them.

Nothing else, and even those blackberries aren't washed and in the freezer yet!

Morning! That's right, the new chapter beckons, two hours today and then its just two weeks to go :j:j:j

Possibly the first "task" I'll be doing is buying and installing acoustic insulation - the issue is definitely about the neighbour's tv on the party wall, and I need to take care of plants from them *and* from me splurging over the boundary. Good fences make good neighbours, Robert Frost said, and its true :)

My kondo-ing has resulted in one neat storage box of all my client files :j never expected to get that done before I retired. Just got to kondo those blackberries into the freezer now, I left them out overnight :o

Sorting my in-try, and my paper recycling, sort of go hand in hand today too :rotfl: and pinterest will be calling.

Plus I'm downloading some free subliminal files from a website - about money and procrastination, I'll let you know if they work :D

Right, I've done a bit - some is on the list, some isn't, as per usual. Ta-da:

    - paid credit card bill
    - transferred Amazon payment to savings, £8.03 :)
    - transferred a whole wodge to savings while I was at it, £400 :)
    - realised I hadn't cleaned a particular rug in ages, sorted that :p
    - decided to run my dressing gown through the wm - the freshness of kondo strikes again :j
    - free subliminal files are still going! Only 10 minutes long each, so I keep forgetting I'm doing it :p
    - in-tray sorted, but not dealt with - lots of pension stuff, other stuff to scan, other stuff to type up. Slowly does it, absolutely.

And there's a file slipped down the back of my desk that I can't reach. I really, really don't want to dismantle the desk ... I might get a big serving spoon from the kitchen :rotfl:

  • Sounds a very productive time:T

Can I ask what subliminal files are please? They sound intriguing;)

Thanks CBC - hope you're doing well, too, feel free to list your own doings on here :)

Subliminal files came from this place: http://www.subliminalguru.com/ I got an offer for two free ones (I can forward you the email if you give me your email addy, though I'm never sure if links behave as they should when we do things like that). The file plays a music of your choice - they give 7 variations - and there are messages underneath - I chose messages about procrastination and getting rich :rotfl:

ETA - I'm shutting down now, I'm working for the afternoon, but I'll follow up on the above when I can.

There's also hemi-synch, pioneered by the guy that founded the Monroe Institute in Virginia: https://www.monroeinstitute.org/

He was a sound engineer who started having out of body experiences, and figured out a way to encourage the process along. Technically, I *think* its about hearing the same thing through both ears but at variance, i.e. one before the other, it does something interesting to the brain. I have a few tapes, but I haven't practised as I should, story of my life :o.

Give me four months after retirement, and I'll turn into a superhero :D or at least I'll have enough energy for a 20 minute there-and-back walk, which I didn't have on Tuesday :rotfl:

KC, all joking apart, I'll drop you a PM with my email address if you wouldn't mind forwarding it to me as well please?
