and it doesn't any more, but it sells the most incredible load of chemicals and sweeteners, masquerading as food, that you've ever seen _pale_

But sweeteners are *health* food. After all, instead of a di-peptide of aspartic acid and phenylalanine which evolves methanol under hydrolysis, you could be having an unfortunate intake of sugar - that foulest of chemicals. Did you know: Fully HALF of all children who grow up in sugar-consuming households score below average on standard tests.

    - posted the blog I wrote a couple of days ago - took ages to find a decent, copyright-free photo of a big lightning strike!

Copyright free is difficult - otherwise it's easy - thusly:

The French have lightning strikes pretty frequently.

Brilliant post, Z, thank you :j

Needed it, mind you :o since I last posted I've done nothing but sleep and sit about, I think I overdid it :o Never mind, just 1.5 hours client work today, I won't do anything else except make cups of tea and take anti-inflammatories ...

Hope everyone has a good day.

    Afternoon all :)

I staggered off to the council tip with my sister this morning, she was very insistent on me doing as little as possible, bless her, but she really wanted my ex-fenceposts out of the way. And now they are.

Too sunny to sit on my patio (when the cherry laurel are done, I'll be able to sit in the shade on the decking at this time of day :) ) so I'm here doing some research for another family member who needs mse help but hasn't a clue where to go. Paying it forward, all the help I've received on here.

I'm ending today feeling quite grumpy. Grump grump. I should be ecstatic: five more weeks! But I'm starting to think, oh bother (bowdlerised version) I really don't want to do that work tomorrow.

Five more weeks. Repeat after me ...

    five more weeks.

How lovely that people took it literally :j:j:j

That's cheered me right up :A

I don't even have that much work on this week :o busy day today, including a "farewell" session for a former client, one on Weds, one on Thur.

I think I may *actually* be grumpy because I had to use antkiller last night :( swarming near an air brick into the house, and I've realised the dustbunnies have fangs, and may well have spiders hidden inside them :o so I have to get my armour on and my jousting shield and spear, and go slay fanged bunnies _pale_ maybe that could be part of my end of the world novel :rotfl:

Thanks again all, much appreciated :)
