Awww :hello: how lovely this is!

And it's definitely about taking back the power over our lives. I don't want to go too Braveheart :D specially cos I'm Anglo with tints of Irish :D but Freeee-duuuuuuuum.

When I have my £100 million lottery win, you can all have £1 million each, I promise. Of course, it would help if I actually *played* the lottery, but we can't have everything :p

    Yep

I was a bit too distractible yesterday, because of the heat, really - understandable, but I don't want that to happen again today. Got about two hours work, I need to clear up the rubbish from the garden that I created yesterday :D and I definitely need to use the time I've got available to me.

It was hot though! I didn't even use a sheet over me last night  I'm not used to it being that hot!

You *are*, honey! You know of the concept, you've got a lot on your plate, and the savings and paying down of all debts (mortgage too) will help you along. Your efforts might "only" be getting you to 80% efficiency, whereas someone who's plotting it well is at 99% efficiency - but you're still doing really well at 80%. Never think that you're doing badly, you work loads.

I'll give you advice that I wish *I'd* done - step back sometimes, for a couple of weeks, even, and really think hard about what you're doing, and what you want. If I'd done that, I'd probably have stopped wasting my time on mystery shopping, for instance, and focussed much more on matched betting and free games of chance etc. And I'd also probably have changed career, rather than carrying on as a therapist. That might have meant I didn't get the Chronic Fatigue, you never know.

*More* than halfway through the week now :) I *may* have an emergency phone call to deal with tomorrow, but otherwise, there's just 3 hours work on Friday :o:j

I really find it difficult to concentrate in the heat ... I'm fine while working with clients, but self starting in this heat ... huh, my computer objected and shut down, though actually I think thats the scanner starting to go on the blink and affecting the computer :o

Did a bit of gardening very early on, when it looked like it was going to thunder, but now smoking hot again - think I might pay attention to my actual to-do list :p

Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

    's good, innit :D

Honestly, I can't wait :o I may still get the chance to have tomorrow completely clear, though I do need to do the banking and buy veg, blah blah. I think I may do the writing first :)

Yep! That's what I'm doing - the whole FIRE thing, though in my case its FILE (financial independence LATE retirement) :)

I've just been experimenting with a book of quotes - you should see the rubbish thats out there on kindle. Some is free, but most isn't, and there's no commentary, no proper sourcing, nothing. I've got dozens of quotes around a theme now, and I'm going to have fun prattling about them :D

I may also have written a thousand words on an outline for a possible new book: "Where There Is No Therapist" :o I might have to submit that to the publishers of Where There Is No Doctor etc

    That would be interesting!

    Morning :)

I was plotting out the day early this morning, on my phone, which I love doing :D so I'll write out a ta-da list later on, hopefully, though it *doesn't* include doing the banking - at least, it doesn't if I can get frozen veg locally, from the old local shop that was there before my local Morrisons opened (now closed in the purge). The old local one had the courage to adapt to new trading conditions, they have Amazon lockers and they hold ebay parcels and JL parcels for delivery too. Much easier than delivering to my house, and four minutes slow potter away from me.

    Perfick :j

Here we go, a ta-da list. [STRIKE]Not as impressive as I wanted it to be, but what is, hey? [/STRIKE] Realised its quite impressive when written down :p

    - dishwasher on - yes, I have to put it on the list, I work at maximising benefit, dontcha know :p

    - washing machine - and its all out there enjoying sun and wind :j

    - lots of scanning :o

    - posted a card that needed to be sent.

    - checked out little local shop: well, there may have been 200g of frozen peas on a shelf at the bottom of one of the freezers, but I wasn't going to buy it - the shop was horrendous! It used to smell, quite frankly, and it doesn't any more, but it sells the most incredible load of chemicals and sweeteners, masquerading as food, that you've ever seen _pale_ At least I know.

    - dealt with a cancellation for tomorrow - which means I can do banking and veg shopping tomorrow after I finish :j

    - found my printout for my over60s nectar card _pale__pale__pale_ thats not me, thats my mother impersonating me ....

    - bit of cleaning done, tiny piece of floor scrubbed :rotfl:

    - posted the blog I wrote a couple of days ago - took ages to find a decent, copyright-free photo of a big lightning strike!

    - researhed and collated huge, 14 page dossier on potential therapists near a client of mine who's not able to use the web to find a replacement therapist. Printed it out too, of course, since no web access - I'm not used to that :rotfl:

I'm stopping for ages now, still need to do bitty things - back up the computer, collect the rubbish for tomorrow, put antkiller down, charge the borrowed hedgetrimmer. Good. Tea!
