Morning campers
I caught up on quite a lot yesterday :j all except the diaryStill got to pay my hosting service for the blogs, but I had more fun with Flickr, sorted out what to put on Amazon, more pruning - I'm going to borrow my sister's hedge trimmer, but I need to work on the hedge thats near the collapsing shed
lack of maintenance will do that.
Just been doing some research on water quality, and mistakenly ended up on a Chinese government site ... its, um, in Chinesewhich is very beautiful and looks much more like artwork than anything else. [FONT=楷体_GB2312]At least I know its not !!!!!!
I'm safe there. Tried to post a phrase on here, and our Western
Two hours paid work today, and I should pay the hosting service today, plus assorted decluttering and Amazoning - I relisted one item yesterday, thats not really going to break the bank.
ETA - just checking the spam box on one of my emails, and one set was so funny I had to mention it here ... apparently Emma Watson wants to get into my bed. Poor Emma! Don't often see celebrities named in that kind of muck, especially one who's been *proved* not to have naked selfies ...

Where Mr Goldie used to work, if the website address was typed in as .com instead of .co.uk, it'd go to a Chinese !!!!!! site!

Is Mr Goldie a Chinese pornographer?0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I'd bet a lot of money that he isn't :rotfl:
Trying to put that Chinese into my earlier post really bollixed it up
Good grief, I'm done for the day. Not a chance yet of doing anything else, I need to sit and recover. Over the next 2 days, I have about 5 hours work, and then week 10 will be done, thank the powers that be.
Nothing remotely money oriented to write, except that I accidentally seem to have exceeded my weekly aim for income by about £40, which is really good for me these days  The regular saver is due out from my account tomorrow, and I may be able to get away with not withdrawing savings, if I put earnings in on Saturday2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Sorry to hear about the accident and your continued fatigue KC, hope the rest does you the world of good xxx0

Given the trouble he had setting up his Apple ID today, I can guarantee there's no way he could set up a Chinese porno site!
Hope you are putting your feet up now, KCEarly retired - 18th December 2014

:rotfl: you lot
Sorry to hear your news KCxx
I have the morning free tomorrow - anything else you want to know about Norway?? I probably shouldn't be interfering with the defence force  but if there's anything specific on the ground you want to know I'm happy to go on a sleuthing missionIf possible, that is, and I can't imagine what on earth I'd be able to find out that you can't find out on the internet, but still

Thanks folks
Ooh, Cheery - I quite understand not interfering with the defence forcejust let me know about the vibe of the city, is it still as warm and lovely? And what's your sense of the main railway station, if you're going past there? Otherwise, enjoy!
Nature Notes: now that the ginger cat's Girlfriend has used the shed roof to park herself, ginger cat himself is back up there. And it hasn't collapsed yet. He's also become reconciled to me being on the patio while he's on the roof. He walked past me to his shortcut to next door and didn't hiss at meand even narrowed his eyes in cat-approval of me staying still and reading my book

I'm sorry I haven't been around much recently. A combination of a few days work delivering leaflets in a very rural area (and all the walking it entailed) and pushing myself to get them done before the threatened rain set in meant I was too tired in the evenings to do much more than nod off in the recliner:o. I thank my lucky stars I still have my health, strength and (usually) plenty of energy so I really feel for people like you, KC, who have such a rough time because of frequent and very debilitating fatigue:kisses3:.
When I did have the time and energy to go online I found unsurmountable (to a non-techie like me:o) connection problems. Just one frustration after another for several days and just goes to show how much we rely on being connected online. I felt totally adrift:eek:
I think I've got it sorted so am going to try to catch up with all the diaries that I've been shut out of for so long.
See you later:beer:0 -
Hello CBC! Very glad to hear from you, I was a teensy bit worried, I confess, but you've no diary where I can go to bug you
Full of admiration for you delivering leaflets like that - thats a *lot* of walking.
Yep, the fatigue is still a pain - people are trying to start up the games evening again, with the daughter of the woman who died replacing her, but I can't do it until October, when I'll have hopefully recovered enough to cope. And worst of all, this weekend is the wedding in Ireland, a big affair, and I can't get to it
I just have to think, never mind, while I'm stuck here, I'll do the sorts of things that people usually do just *after* they've retired, so I can get to the fun part of retirement quicker, rather than the sorting out and decluttering that most people need to do2023: the year I get to buy a car0
