When you write the considered email to your business partner you might want to include 'knobhead'. Just might, not going to tell you what to do. Apart from
RING THE PLUMBER 😂A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I'll ring the plumber tomorrow, I promise
I've suddenly remembered my existence is also a financial one, and I'm up against a few time limits, so just now I have:
- paid a cc bill (£1.78 :rotfl:)
- paid 2 management company bills in France
- written a Wedmin email
Today I *must* still scan a letter from the French tax people and send it to my accountant to ask what I need to do, it aint exactly in conversational French :rotfl: That's the only essential.
Tomorrow I must:
- ring the plumber
- do the banking
- accept invite to the *Irish* wedding
- email my brother about this marriage allowance thingummy, though I don't want to be too quick off the mark - if he can't find another job, which I'm fairly sure he can't because of his age and geographical location, he's entitled to that money.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Sounds like you are having a better day KC.
That's a good cc bill :rotfl:

But basically because I talk about stuff, he sees me as a self obsessed victim-type person, because of his own past.
Ah - talking about stuff - the curse of the INing classes! :rotfl:
I second GG's comments, I would be sending a rash and ill-considered email.
Do you have to complete a tax return KC?0 -
I suppose in August he'll be your ex-business partner, which sounds like a good thing.
On the survey front I'm plugging away with You Gov. I'm currently on 3650. It was brilliant before Christmas, then went dead in January, I got a lot of invites in Feb/Mar when I was away (which I didn't do), and since I've been back, I've only had two surveys. I did these two surveys immediately, to show how keen I am, but they haven't taken the hint yet!Early retired - 18th December 2014

Loving the rash and ill-considered:D:D ah, would that I could! I have this neuro-electrical implant in my wrist that prevents me from pressing the "send" button on emails like that
I do have to complete a tax return, Ed - I'll even have to do one for the tax year 2016/17 I suppose (I'll check that), though my earnings will be well below the taxable income level - they may go over temporarily because of the rent from the French apartment, which goes to pay part of the mortgage over there.
A freebie kindle book I found recently was called French Illusions or something, literally about an American girl's au pairing experiences in France in 1979 - doh, I could do that! Mine would be full of Algerians and the French Foreign Legion cos I was a long way south from safe little ToursI quite fancy doing that

even though I feel !!!!!y saying it, he *does* in fact pay her for normal stuff like that.

On the whole, I think I'd rather be on a cruise than do yougov surveys :j

Morning! I made a to-do list for today on my phone last night, and I'm a bit surprised at the number of little things to do. I have energy issues, but people with full time jobs have even less time to do this stuff than I do. Respect to all the peeps on here who juggle so much stuff.
So, done already:
- dishwasher (with a jug underneath that broken pipe)
- scanned French tax document and sent request for confirmation to French accountant.
- done a bit of decluttering scanning while I've been reading the forum.
And now I have to:
- go do the banking.
- check seed stash for kale and chard, or find plug plants while I do banking.
- FIND A PLUMBER (sorry for shouting, its meant for me).
- back up computer
- get recycling ready
- send an email
- ring my mum, delayed from yesterday because she was out on the razzle
- blog posts - got one ready to go, it just needs to have the linkies put in when I upload it!
- definitely a shower and a relax.
Will there be garden time? I hope so!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I also have 1892 Eon points - they can become almost £20 of Bonus bond vouchers, which I can spend at Iceland etc - thats good! Thats 80% of a week's food shopping!
Nice one Karmacat. Reward points build up at just over 4 a day and are added to accounts monthly so you should pass 2000 (worth £20 in Bonusbonds) this month. If you've registered with our website, you can claim your shopping vouchers online. Alternatively, contact us and we'll be happy to arrange this for you. Once requested, they'll be with you usually within 3 weeks but in most cases it's often about a week.
If you change your mind about using the Rewards at Iceland, you can go for Tesco Clubcard points instead. These can be used in-store, online or for petrol.
Hope this is of interest Karmacat and enjoy the points, whatever option you go for.
