  • The sun's shining here for a change, lovely blue sky and barely a breeze. Lifts the spirit massively:j. I hope the sun is shining on you too today, KC.

Your day with family sounded wonderful but however tempted you are, please don't attempt too much today. Take care of yourself:beer:

Cat sitting in someone's comfortable, warm:j, home is my idea of bliss:j:j:j. There are agencies you can register with who match sitters to owners all over the country, you could make a nice little side job out of it when you have lots of time on your hands;).

    Hello CBC!

Don't worry I'll take care about my energy levels :kisses3: I've learned my lesson on that one. And I'm working tomorrow, a big day, I really can't afford to tire myself out today - plus I want to experience the holiday as a holiday, not as yuck :D

I'm glad you've got sun - we had amazing sun yesterday, really very warm, but although its still warmish today, its also throwing it down :p

The idea of cat-sitting is growing on me again - I employed cat sitters myself 20 years ago or so, and the money was phenomenal. With live-in cats to stroke, and my own laptop, I'd be a very happy camper :T:T:T

Ruminating on the next year, deffo - the one word is easy, that's "retirement" :D I

It's a great word, one of my favourites, as it happens!:D

I think cat sitting would suit you down to the ground - there must be a big market for it.

Hope you're having a good relaxing sort of day today

I agree, it will *definitely* suit me :j:j:j

I won't include it in next year's planning, though, I'm not there yet health wise. I'm getting very excited though :D

There's a break in the rain right now, so I'll just go round the block, then spoil myself with a *second* cup of coffee :D and think about planning. A lot is quite boring, because its just about continuing preparations I've been making this year, but I need to slot in some new stuff :j

    Morning :)

I've already cleaned the stairs ready for sessions - this is my last working day, and its a full one - I'm late starting too, as I didn't sleep much last night. Its good tho, to be my last one.

This day counts as the last working day of week 36 in the countdown, because week 36 was last week, and I only worked two days. Oops! My countdown is wrong :o:o:o I tried to synch it with next year, but obviously didn't quite do it, okay.

This is week 36 - and I'm finishing off the work of week 35 :p I'm so glad I didn't stay in finance work!

Just getting my act together now - it will be nice to wake up properly some time soon. I've written out my plan for the next year, segmented according to whether its stuff I'm continuing to do, bits of things I'm starting to do, or humongous new things I'm also starting to do :)

I know! Hilarious. Glad the cat sitting idea appealed :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!
