  • Collection points are great. Simple idea but so convenient.
Paid off mortgage nine years early in 2013. Now picking and choosing our work to fit in with the rest of our lives!
Still thrifty though, after all these years:D

Morning! Two hours paid work today, and a bit of cleaning already done ready for that, plus phone call.

The big list is going well - I keep adding to it, just one off emails etc :o but it now stands at 21/38 :j

My list is endless, I keep hoping that it will go down but everytime I do one thing it multiplies with 3-4 more, think The Sorcerers Apprentice has got to it :rotfl:

  • Having to wait in for the man who's coming sometime today, he couldn't commit even to morning or afternoon:(, to treat our garden for a bad case of moss. We've tried all sorts of DIY but it's a massive area with a lot of overhanging trees in places which have contributed to the problem. OH has reluctantly decided to get a professional in but has gone out himself:(. I hate waiting in for people!

Trying to be productive on the money-making front by catching up on online surveys. I went through a phase recently where I just couldn't face doing them as they were so mind-numbingly boring:o. Not having much success today though, Crowdology have already screened me out of 8:eek:. After each screen-out a page comes up saying '' looks like you weren't a good match for that survey but we'll find you another one....'' but whatever they find for me I'm not a good match:(.

I hope you, KC, and all your readers have a better and more productive day than me:beer:

My list started off as a total of 30, so I know what you mean, Sue :) but one off the list has just been done, a phone call to my business partner, and I don't have to rush to see him before Xmas now, we'll meet up to chat if there's no lurgies around (he'll have family staying with him).

CBC - good luck with the Man Who Can turning up! As for surveys, as you know I just do yougov, and they've only sent me prize draw surveys recently, the rotters! Not doing them, not unless I start to miss the surveys :)

Any other little money-related tasks you can do, CBC?

I've been looking around the hospice/morphine/cancer treatment websites for a few minutes - bad news on my friend.

Have to think about clients, though, I'm working in half an hour. Positive, loving vibes to all.

I tried the survey route, few years back but always found that it was not a productive use of time :(

I do eb*y it and carb**t it, plus have my own business as well as work full time. (Maybe not having much time is why it didn't really work for me) :D

I do surveys when I'm mindlessly watching the tv at night - it's pennies really but I get some vouchers over the year which we then use at christmas time :)

  • I do surveys when I've nothing better to do, I don't give them priority. Like you, though, slowlyfading, it means vouchers and paypal payments throughout the year so worth doing even at the pittance some of the companies pay. Thank goodness for Pinecone with their superfast payment and excellent rate of pay:j. It's a pity their surveys are so few and far between:(
