Love love love the ideaMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -
How about trying the frocks on first thing tomorrow morning, before you get 'normal' clothes on? I find one of the worst bits about trying stuff on s the removal and re-putting on of normal clothes - so try if I can (ie: not in a shop!) combine it with getting ready for bed/ getting ready in the morning (mine's usually at the end of the day - I'm normally in too much of a rush in the mornings!)I feel like I've just got my life back :j

When I've had to get on with it and do these things because I've finally run out of time and excuses they've never seemed anything like as bad as I'd anticipated. The black cloud hanging there above my head during the endless putting-things-off period was far worse and the eventual feeling of relief and closure was stupendous:j
I know your reasons for avoiding things is a different matter with your health issues involved but I can still empathise to a certain extent in the way deferred action can be so demoralising:(
Have a good day:beer:
This so rings a bell with me:( I have 3 (to me) huge frogs to swallow, have needed doing for weeks:o
Phone hearing clinic, tell them I have lost one of my hearing aids, get an appointment and find out if I will have to pay for the replacement.
Phone and try to extract copy of blood test results from Consultants office, I know I am entitled to them, but still have not done it.
Make an appointment to see GP about recent ailment and to recap after all the tests and X-rays/scans from the summer.
Anyone see a theme here? I am not overawed by the "medics" so why is it such a steep mountain to climb?:o

:hello: morning, lovely peeps
Late on today, to see lots of lovely posts, both supportive and thoughtful, thank you all so much :kisses3:
Work went well yesterday, but took every scrap of energy I had, which is why no dresses and late arrival herebut I have my second cup of tea in my hand, and I guarantee that when that's finished, I'm going to switch on the heating upstairs and try the frocks on :j Greent, I know where you're coming from with the taking clothes off/on again, but I need my cup of tea first
but yes, once I've started, I'll keep going till I've done all three, and then decide right away. I'll let you all know :kisses3:
CBC is dead right about doing the things we dread - they're *never* as bad in RL as we make them out to be.
maddiemay that's a *lot* of medical info to get hold of, I'm not surprised you're finding it difficult to start doing. I love starting "projects", but contacting people, and even finishing the projects, I hate - I'm a natural entrepreneur in some ways, but I don't love the networking palaver. Though I did just see an article in The Guardian about networking for introverts which I've bookmarked to read later on: http://www.theguardian.com/careers/2015/dec/10/how-to-network-introvert2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Am off to ogle summer houses right now - just wondering about the land/planning permission, all the boring stuff
ETA - I thought I was pushing it for time, in relation to the dresses. This is the last day on which I can return the Jacques Vert dresses from Kaliko  I tried them on in the warm, twas the work of a moment: the crimson one, I didn't even take it out of the bag, its colour was so unsuitable for my complexion. Sad but true. And the classic Kaliko - low back, so all the scarring on my back is on view (operations, cysts, acne, not a confidence builder) and anyway, the front is so high it sets off my fidget alert
So the winner is the one from John Lewis, that I bought at the last moment as a backup, this one: http://www.johnlewis.com/jolie-moi-floral-retro-dress/p2247217?colour=Aqua
£37 delivered, which I consider a real bargain :j I might need to lose about 4lbs to still be comfy by the end of the night
Very pleased! So I'm off to print the label and go to the MyHermes store - thats two items ticked off the big list :j:j:j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Your final choice is absolutely gorgeous:j. Now all you need are some lovely shoes and, dare I say it, a hat to be a real head-turner:).
Very well done on getting on with selecting your favourite and organising the return of the rejects:T:T:T0 -
Ooh, that's so pretty :j :j Good choice!0

That was my favourite :j:T:DA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
