Doctorate is already available for free online KC! As a downloadable PDF. Not sure there's a huge market for other people's PhDs on kindle - but who knows?!
Just busy sorting it out to print off a proper copy for myself - I did never a real one at the end as I was too fed up of it

Oh thats good! Still, in your line of work just as in "I'm trying to be an author", raising profile is always good
Ed - I said they'd help the CPD - I didn't say anything about liking them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:and thats just about right, I loathe the atmosphere around my professional organisation
Got to go, got to go, oh blimey, I'm going to be late. Imagine me as Lewis Carroll's White Rabbit, and you won't be far wong2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Morning campers!
I got rained on properly last night! Tres wet .... nice sound when you're indoors tho :j
Right, no paid work today, so I have a list:
- into town - pay in cheques, [STRIKE]dump stuff at the chazzer[/STRIKE] donate some wonderful belongings to a worthy cause, buy some OTC indigestion whatnots, stock up on borthday cards, collect Millets order (two pairs of bog standard jeans, what I'm getting by on is absolutely shameful :rotfl:).
- ring my professional organisation, there's a webinar on Saturday I want to log on to, and I managed to lock myself out by mistyping my password
- pay credit cards online.
- shredding. Already started this
- pot up a piece of sorrel root I ripped off by accident when I was weedingI put it in a glass with some soil mixed into the water, and I think it's rooted by now, so I need to set it up.
Might be faffing about looking at chazzer DVDs as well, after the recent conversation :rotfl: but more likely to be sitting back with a cuppa tea.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
KC I invited you to 'like' that page on fb because they have lots of lovely kitty photos - not sure if you would be allowed to -er- 'borrow' some of them for your new page. XxNothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task. William James0

Didnt do anything else yesterday
though I did manage to do everything on my to do list except pot up the sorrel. Am about to do that now, after I get off the phone from my loathsome professional organisation, who are too busy gloating about all the money I've paid them to answer the phone, grrr. Webinar tomorrow, for which I've paid them. Have they sent me the online login details? They have not. And the Events Team won't answer their phone, and the main switchboard goes to the message box of an extension. Which is full, and they cut your connection. For this, I pay nearly £200? Not awfully acceptable!
And breathe.
Today ... finished the shredding, and I even threw out a spare piece of very old foam acoustic insulation, gathering dust for a million years. The thing about counting down by the days to retirement isn't working very wellbut I guarantee you its on my mind the whole time :j
Anyway, 2.5 hours paid work today, and I'm just about to try the "professional" organisation again, and if I still can't get through, send them an online message to let them know exactly how I feel, politely of course :rotfl:
ETA almost immediately. The Events Team has condescended to turn on the phones! I'm at 9 in the queue, just goes to show2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Well, things might be on the up ... spoke to somebody who was actually prepared to give me her full name (unasked for) and her direct dial phone number. Thats pretty impressive. So far!
ETA: the log on details have arrived! I'm shocked, to be honest :rotfl: but terribly impressed, absolutely!
So now, I've brought up to the office some decluttering faffy bits, that don't require any attention - filing, writing out CD labels so I can throw the big square boxes away, that sort of thing. No way I'm going to sit here and watch while they explain how a webinar works, which they do at *great* length.
Very chuffed.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hope the course is going well!

:hello: Hi sweetie
I watched a couple of hours this morning - figured out a way to stay logged in when they kept freezing, so it wasn't too bad. I'll wait for the rest until the 30 day access period starts up, can't do it all in one goI decluttered maybe two thirds of the CD cases, that was all
So instead of that, I *did* get out for some of those rays - local high street is closed for a cutesie little arts festival, so my sister and I walked up and down admiring this that and the other :T
It really is a beautiful day, isn't it  hope you're having a lovely day too. How you doing?
ETA - another you gov survey done. 4,555 points loggedI'm getting close!
