Ah! Do you know, I think I've actually *bought* from there once, but I've never sold, oops ... thanks for that, CBC - I don't want to focus on it today, but I'll put it in the diary for Friday.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Sold a pamphlet on amazon this morning :j Its very thin, so it won't declutter much
but my net is about £6.50 - its not old like the other two above, but it *is* rare - socialist history, dontcha know
Did lots of work on the goodreads/blog linkup yesterday, and then switched to the cat blog - not so much the blog itself, as my photos and info that I use for writing it - I can't write when my stuff is all over the place, so I sorted it on the computer, and now I'm backing up the new arrangement :j
Dear me, there's a lot of deleted carp too
Anyway, not much of that will be going on today - 3 hours of actual paid work, if my clients ever get to me through the wind and rainso I'm just tidying right now, and assuming they *will* get here ...

Well done on the Amazon sale. That's a nice amount as it won't cost much to post and you might make a bit of profit on the £2.80 postage allowance too:T
I really admire you for getting to grips with all the technology issues that you take in your stride on what seems like a daily basis:beer:. Puts my feeble efforts to shame:o
Just about to venture out into the teeming rain to the mobile library with the books that are due back today. Two of them have been reserved by someone else so I'm not allowed to renew them online from the comfort of my sofa. Darn it!0 -
Oh that's vexing CBC, I confess I rely a LOT on being able to renew library books from home...
Excellent work KC both on the selling and the computery things :j Hope your clients aren't too bedraggled when they get to you!
Have a good day0 -
It's exactly a year to your retirement date ! :j
The time will fly past!Early retired - 18th December 2014
If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
Wow - a year only ...365 and counting downMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0 -

I can't tell you how ready I am
Clients got to me, sogginess abounded, oh boy, this rain is *hard*! So was the wind - we've seen the back of the bad stuff now, I think.
Hope you didn't get too soggy yourself, CBC - like you and Cheery, I *need* long distance renewal :T
Quiet evening tonight - it feels either really late or really early, but definitely not 5.30 in the afternoon :cool:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Ooh KC, exactly a year! :j :j :j SO excited for you

Thanks Cheery! I'll still be doing online work, it won't quite be like Goldie's retirement - more like CBC's, I think - but I'll have my house and my time to myself again :j
Popping out to the supermarket this morning, then finishing a blog post; I have quite a few birthday letters to write toodon't think I'm going to get them *all* done. Then after a rest, it'll be either finishing off facebook for cats (cover photo) or t'other one, learning about pinterest, which has been recommended to me by quite a few peeps from different universes

I got hardly anything done from that post I made yesterday
I went to the supermarket ... I had a rest ... erm, I know, I packed in lots of loose paper to go in the recycling, which has been taken this morning. Had a lovely hot shower, *especially* hot, not an ordinary onestarted accounts paperwork, thats it
Been to the bank this morning and put the w/machine on, but had a very slow start - I was up at 5am after getting an allergy reaction from too much peanut butter too late at nightnot a happy bunny. It's gone now tho, thankfully :j
No idea what to do this afternoonthat blog post is essential to finish, but then its a choice between gardening or a bit of fixit DIY in the house  as well as, erm, cleaning ready for the weekend :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: yeah, like thats going to happen :rotfl:
Ooh! Goldie has reminded me, Ancestry is free this weekend, must check my stuff!2023: the year I get to buy a car0
