    'Ello you :D

Assuredly not a dynamo :D absolutely none of my to-do list got done yesterday until about 8pm, and when it did, it was things like "soak beans for tomorrow" :rotfl: "send 3 documents to my kindle" - really hard work :D

Anyway, first belt of rain has come and gone, but I have to leave the house at 11, so the next lot might be here by then :p

Looking at a few things on here, and faffing about with the blogs till then. Hope everyone has a good (and dry) day :)

For me too! Turns out the early stuff was only a precursor, it was **tippling** down, with lots of thunder and lightning when I was out and about  and I was up a big hill too  :rotfl:

Still, there's one positive result: that stupid CBT book that I hated so much, I'm going to get a refund :j:j:j

It's taken a while to get back to doing anything productive tho - I got so wet I even had to change my underwear :D it was a bit ridiculous.

    Blogging :D

I won't say anything about the current weather, just in case there's another double entendre!:rotfl:

Probably best that way :D or about the blogging :D

At any rate, my house hasn't been submerged in flood water overnight, which is A Good Thing, so I'm off to town shortly to do the banking - just hope town wasn't submerged either, as it was a few years ago briefly, because it smelt *really* bad when that happened

I have a list. I know how to use it. I'm really doubtful I'll use it in the way for which it was intended, so I'll be posting a ta-da list, not a to-do list

So KC - how did the weeding go?

Well impressed with your blackberry foraging & storing - has me salivating for berry crumble!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oh my KC - that's hilarious!

I ventured out from work yesterday mid-day (to test my raincoat) - I had all the 'lifers' giving me sage advice on not getting wet and offering me umbrellas! Was even offered the services of a driver :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: to go across the street (so NOT allowed for us plebs - I'm guessing that was a joke).

So it was fun actually - tourist are wimps and desserted the streets - no one was out and about to fetch lunch ('cept me) and I spent a fun walk jumping over puddles & reliving "3"...

Missed the last one though and spent the rest of the afternoon with wet feet!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Next time I'm wearing my weatherproof crocs (not the chunky ones - mine are actually quite feminine) which will dry off in no time & still allow me to splash around:D

So who says there is not such thing as a 'free' lunch? - MSE success moment for the day...had to buy assorted tolietries & scored myself about 400 bonus pts at b00ts - had a coupon for 30p off a meal deal so spent 349pts on a drink, snack and main which actually lasted all afternoon!

PS - 'lifers' are my colleagues who have been around forever (20+) years and are all close to retirement - I'm their 'get with the times' tech help so they tend to be very kind in return!

:rotfl: it was deserted, wasn't it! I don't live in a tourist town any more (first time in my life, actually!) but no one was around ...

I love the sound of jumping over puddles :j:j:j and your bargains at M&S and Boots - well done you :coffee:

Right. I think I'd better get ready for the banking - the forecast has it *tippling* down here later in the day. Don't want to have to change the underwear mid-day for the second time in two days :D
