PS - I did the blog posts, did about 10 minutes of weeding (oops!) and am just this minute backing up the computer.
I did get my walk in though

We've got quite a lot of photographs backed up on CD and DVD's. I never thought about them being duds

If your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough0 -
It's worth backing up, it really is! Doing my pix now, onto the external hard drive.
This morning, I'm going to be working on the "blog architecture", as I have so grandiosely named it
Had a brilliant sleep, so I'm up for it :j
It's raining - stuff outside is difficult to do, but at least I don't have to water the garden, it was coming to that, even though others have been rained on a lot

For once it isn't raining here. Have a great day!0

Sunny and warm here too which is a mixed blessing as the lawn-care company man is coming back to do another weed-killing application if the weather promises to stay dry:eek:
I worry about my cat plus all the small wildlife that shares our garden but the company says the substance is completely harmless once it has dried. Can only take their word for it really but I still worry about it:o0 -

Keep the moggy indoors, CBC! I'm not a big fan of monoculture, but I lay down poison for all sorts of other reasons, absolutely. Look after your moggy, and everything else has to look after itself, I'm afraid ...carbootcrazy wrote: »Sunny and warm here too which is a mixed blessing as the lawn-care company man is coming back to do another weed-killing application if the weather promises to stay dry:eek:

Oh Firegirl  you poor thing! Its really important to me that i've given up paper copies of all sorts of things, but it makes backup all the more important. My Norfolk rellie has an external hard drive thats a terabyte in size, and only cost £20 ... next time, I'll be going for that.I lost 2 years of my Diary from when kids were smalls - gutted- to scared to check the hard drive for fear its gone forever!!!
I can't tell you how long I've spent today on the blog architecture
I worked and worked to get this particular post nice and smooth looking (physically, I mean, but there were 3 different links to Amazon, and it just looked **terrible**). In the end, I've deleted two, and I'll give each of them a separate post

**yawns** ...had some early rain, but its nicer now - a lightly used towel is out there flapping about, thats how nice it is
I'm hoping the rain isn't too bad tomorrow round here, as I have a meeting *outside* the house to go to - weird, for me anyway!
Paid work done, 14oz of blackberries picked, washed and frozen, and frankly, I'm amazed I haven't triggered a dust phobia - I've been cleaning the last few days, through the whole house, and I had a proper look today at the dust in the bin
it's a bit horrendous, actually
Since the ground's all nice and soft, I'll be doing some weeding
