I'm having another moneysaving day on Ancestry :j some of it's duplication, but I'm picking up lots of census forms filled out in the mid-late 19th century of my grandmother's family, who seem to have populated north west England all on their own - 8 of them, only one died in infancy and one unmarried lady :) and the rest had 6 - 12 children each  and never, ever say that nepotism is new :rotfl:

It's a note I made of a newspaper clipping I saw as a teenager that stands out, though: it had been taken from a newspaper of 1952, and its an enquiry from "Sidney XXX" of Tacoma, Washington". Turns out my family also populated most of the Canada and the United States :j

:rotfl: yep, I've done some of that too - both very lost, and very geographically distant, we span the globe :D

I *might* do a bit more this evening, but I'm off to get some fresh air now - finished off with my grandmother's family, she's 6 years old in 1911, and her sister isn't named, just "baby under one month old" - made me think of Juliet :happylove tho this isn't a census year :)

    Awww :)

Juliet currently crashed on the couch with Mum who is gamely trying to read a newspaper with her other arm.

KC, was laughing out loud and thinking of you while watching the Simpsons.

Homer became a prepper, the phrase sheeple was used and a good time was had by all :rotfl:

I didn't know about that - Homer being a prepper would probably *cause* the end of the world :D

Am currently prepping the alarm facility on my cordless phone, so I can get up at 6am for this emergency-extra dental session .... ug. Very ug.

You must be psychic - he did cause it (a massive EMP wave because he was watching crazy preppers deliver cows on YouTube and ignoring work as usual)! There were some laugh out loud moments that anyone familiar with that sort of thing would get a chuckle from.

Character analysis is my thing :D

Well, I still have the tooth ... and I have more antibiotics too, and that means I don't have to go to a dental hospital to have the bleeping thing taken out :j they can do it at the practice :j end of next week :j

Feel a bit better now the antibacs are taking hold, and came online to find the little ipod shuffle went for £17, and I sold a collectible book too, so a good haul over the weekend :)

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
