Aw, thank you! I had - am having - a lovely day
Everything takes longer, of course, but who cares, because its all nice
Prepped the rhubarb (had to scrape by with 600g!), went out a walk to inspect "my" wild apple trees (some are forming nicely, the haws have started too) cut 10 heads of elderflower, pulled them off with a fork as per instructions, chopped some crystallised ginger in there too, only boiled for about ten mins, and omigod, its gorgeous :j:j:j
Not really enough to make jam - it'll be gone within the week anyway, I guarantee youbut when my rhubarb is ripe, I'll definitely be doing this. Only used half the amount of sugar too, fortunately I've really gone off sugar
Had a nice long rest, finally put up the blog post I've been preparing for about ten days. Time for another cuppa now.

Morning! Not *quite* so retirement-oriented today, as I have 1.5 hours work at lunchtime - but my white goods are working for me - dishwasher and washing machine - and my washing line is working for me too right now, its really overcast but rain not forecast till this evening.
I checked out SF's interview - cats :j with really good photos :j
My other experiments have worked this week too - sprouting, and sun kettling. So, a bit of admin this morning, and a bit of blog-running.

Right, different things being done:
- maximiles survey, 100 points!
- did some severe pruning at the side of my house - actually had the saw out, an unbalanced forsythia has been attacking my fence!
- got an amazon author page going :rotfl: me and my one, lonely kindle book :rotfl:
- updated my "about" page on the blog, I'm just wondering if I need to write about past experience?
- I've faffed with the widgets as much as I'm going to, though I've slightly confused myself as there are two sorts of follow button - I had one, for about 3 minutes I had two, and now I've just got the other sortdear me!
