    Think I've finally sussed my paternal ancestry in mid 19th century Yorkshire. Workhouses, itinerant labour, I've got the lot. Off on a walk now, to appreciate how high my standard of living is compared to a few short generations ago.

    Great decluttering.
    So far today I have managed two pairs of holey pj bottoms, one pair of boxer shorts and one sock. None of them mine.

    February for me has started in a crazy kind of way - it's been all doing what needs to be done with zero time for what I'd like to be doing! - my mantra for the month so far has been "Bring it On" :shocked:

    ...and now I have a mortgage! (23 AUG 2021)
    New projection - 14 YEARS 8 MONTHS LEFT OF 20 YEARS (reduced by 16 mths)

    I'm back :j:j:j

    The norty 'puter got a telling off from the local shop :D it was the battery - even when it was plugged into the mains, it wouldn't stay on, it was weird. So now I have a new battery, which *still* only charges to 80% actually, and I'm going to experiment with doing what they advised, which is taking the battery out when I'm plugged in. When the computer's plugged in, anyway :D
