I just had a walk round the block (met the local ginger cat
) and I really feel I might start to get back out into the garden soon, its so much nicer to be outside and doing, even though I love the writing that I'm doing too.
Gah! at therapy room being filled with online shopping! A full day ahead indeed!there were about 8 bags in there (there was an offer on toilet rolls, and I'm counting that as two bags :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: it wasn't onerous, it just would have looked dumb if the client had turned up early
I started peeling back the wallpaper in the bathroom that covers the falling-off-plaster  Small steps...This house needs a bit of replastering, because of all the water that got in through the old pointing ....
Right, washing machine is on, external hard drive has almost completely backed up the computer, kettle is on the boil for another cuppa tea, all's well with the world :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I've been dealing with some of the fallout from being ill, in relation to an online situation, and its really not pretty. Its also exhausting. So I'm going to give it another day, see if anything else turns up, and then resign. I feel better just writing that down! Life's too short for any of this carp

That sounds decisive, hope you get it sorted. It sounds draining, and you can do without that.Early retired - 18th December 2014

Thank you all :T I really appreciate the support. I literally just finished tidying things up around it all, and came on here hoping to gather strength ... you guys are so lovely, you really are.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Go for it KC :T.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Thanks Gally, much appreciated! I've gone and done it, short and sweet, factual. Such a relief! I was afraid I'd get sick again from the stress of it, but I think I've caught it in time.
Right, got to look after myself. I've picked up an extra hour of work today, late-ish afternoon, that helps the finances.
I do keep *looking* at the garden, but its been trying to snow for hours (the weather, not the garden) so no way I'm going out there :rotfl:
So, today, is "tidying". Making sure the desk is useable, clearing the table in the kitchen so that if I *do* suddenly feel the urge to work on the cat designs, I can. I'm more or less back to where I was before I got ill, so that still doesn't mean a normal working day, but it *does* mean *my* working day. Counselling work, writing of various sorts, gardening, finances. Coming next week: the possibility of a social life :j
Updates later :rotfl:2023: the year I get to buy a car0
