Glad I saw it before it was removed! :rotfl:

    Who complained?
The heavies from Bristol I'd guess. They don't like to see anything published that they deem to be misleading and rather fond of threatening legal action.

Which with their track record might seem somewhat inconsistent.

"copyright" is an interesting reason for removal, because there may well be an exemption for parody. i believe this is established in US copyright law, but i'm not so sure about the UK, however.

i can understand that the forum team may not feel this 1 is worth fighting over.

Surely it would be surprising if they didn't.

Another thread on here concerning HL fees, was specifically referred to in the Daily Telegraph the other day.

I was amazed it stayed up for so long, very amusing though.

If it was H-L, it shows a considerable sense of humour bypass. But then again they must feel a bit under siege ... and not surprisingly.
But, most likely it was the large corporation running THIS website, that used to be the little man's champion! Cynical? Me?

I'm assuming they do. In which case..... could they please put a rocket under their customer service dept. and point out that some of us are still waiting to be reimbursed for cash taken from our accounts in error?

I am still waiting for a reply to my secure message, sent a week ago, which was itself the THIRD attempt to get them to deal adequately with their error.
Not at all happy with the delay. Money was taken in error over a month ago.

Can't you raise it as a Formal Complaint?
