After a 15 minute phone call with muppets at AOL, it transpires I'm still on AOL Silver and there is no planned increase in line speed until August, when I'll go to 2MB. So I told him I want a callback from a supervisor by 5pm today or I'll stop paying the monthly fee, he agreed. Now time for that lie downBlackadder: Baldrick, I have a very, very, very cunning plan.

Another long protracted conversation with AOL, I was transferred from wherever, to Ireland, and within 5 minutes he'd moved me to AOL PLatinum and my speed jumped to 1.8Mbps. Now, over the next 10 days my speed will be tested for stability... hopefully they aren't telling porkies this time!
I've found an issue with IE7 - I had several tabs open when they all stopped responding, by that I mean the little blue circle was spinning to show it was loading a page but as if the itnernet connection was failing. After losing patience I opened a new IE window and things there were fine, while even 20 mins later on the original window, the pages still weren't loading up, circles still spinning. Anyone know what this is and why it's happening, I can't help but think it's only done this since I put ZoneAlarm on here, or is it something else? Hope someone can help as it's happened twice today and once last night too, I lost a long email today as I was saving it in drafts :wall: Thanks again!Blackadder: Baldrick, I have a very, very, very cunning plan.
