I sincerely hope that, if any of you ever need an ambulance, there's a huge fleet of Tesco vans illegally parked and blocking them from getting to you.

What a venomous disgusting thing to say......all because people on a public forum laugh at your self-important attitude you think they should be prevented from getting medical treatment in an emergency......

...I would never say something like that, karma and all that.

Yesterday i was blocked in by builders working next door.

It took less than a minute to get them to move.

I was then asked if i would be returning - so they didn't block me out. I told them it was fine - i would park on the street until they had done.

They were carrying heavy items - just as the Tesco man was - and i would always expect them to get as close as they can.

The post and the other regarding the Ebay seller, just proves that some people have nothing better to do than moan and make a mountain out of a molehill.

Op - get an hobby or something to help you relax. And stop looking out the window.

  • Wow. What an unsympathetic, judgmental bunch you are. Making excuses, accusing me of hysteria

That's what happens when you make a pointless rant!

Neurotic potential mother. Is this her first live pregnancy? Tesco delivery guys are rarely there more than 5 mins. Life is too short, take a chill pill.

So, just to clarify, you deliberately chose NOT to share exactly why you were concerned about this very temporary parking issue with Tesco.

IMO your initial complaint must have sounded like it was coming from a petty, whinging twit with too much time on their hands. Therefore their response was pretty bland but did contain an apology and a perfectly adequate suggestion for how to deal with the issue.

After receiving it you wound yourself up as much as possible by researching the 'offence' to discover what additional action either the Police or LA could take if it happened again. Then came on here to 'vent' (as is your right) but have had little sympathy which has clearly infuriated you more.

I can see you have had sad losses of previous pregnancies and so have major concerns with the current one, you going to have to take at face value that you have my sympathy. and I wish you a successful outcome this time.

BUT you are inflicting as much stress & aggravation on yourself as possible with this petty issue. Dragging it out and making it much bigger than is necessary at a time when it would be best for you to try to be as chilled and relaxed as possible.

In reality the driver has not gone more than a couple of doors away from your home, he'll be on the neighbours doorstep so easy enough to find. He'll be 5 minutes at most because we all know some of the groceries will be missing so he'll want to have legged it before the homeowner notices and can lay into him.

Take some well meant advice.......LET THIS GO. Though what has happened to you in the past may be medical/physical problems and your mental wellbeing irrelevant, but is it really worth risking.

If it happens again, make a cup of tea, sit quietly for 5 minutes then check that he's moved.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

What an unfortunate post. There seems to be far too many people picking on the ordinary working man or wman as if they, the complainant, are a different group of people and not a worker themselves. It can be very difficult to drive a larger vehicle at night especially when making deliveries. You only have a view in wing mirrors, poor all round visibility, the streets are dar,it might be raining, your peering in the dark for often non existant or poorly displayed house numbers, maybe your 40 something and your eyesight is a bit wobbly. Your worried about other cars, bleating occupants complaining about obstructions etc..you need to get to your customer and offload a load of stuff. It want take any more than 5 or 10 mintues...who could possibly complain?

So now some guy is going to be called into an office somewhere and maybe warned or told about this that or the other.

What will he do next time?

Well ive been warned before, theres nowhere to park, ill abort delivery and drive away.

Why after all should a driver risk being warned, disciplined, getting a parking ticket, whatever? Just follow the rules precisely and drive away.
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
