Vendors not giving keys to EA

Oh yes - worst of both worlds! I had a couple like that. Very awkward.
I also did one viewing where the seller was cheerfully pointing out all the faults with the house while the agent tried to shut him up. Which would have been handy had I wanted to buy it, but ad the seller not been there I would have been saying to the agent within about 5 minutes that it wasn't the right house for me. As it was, I wound up spending about 20 minutes looking round.0 -
I have never yet sold a house but I wouldn't be giving EA the keys because of my dog mainly but also they may not put the burglar alarm on when they leave. I think if they were coming for viewings I would take the dog for a walk for 30 mins or so so avoid the room to room scuttle as that is awkward (witnessed then when viewing homes with my daughter)."'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life
