  • We are getting married next January and we had been planning it before we were engaged for about 6 months, got engaged in November and booked all the main suppliers in November.ive already got everything to make my invites and other stationary and my bridesmaids dresses and we are going shopping next week to get my dress sorted. I like to be very organised and with us moving house in 3 weeks I needed something to be doing to focus on apart from that lol now it means I can get making everything once were settled and I won't be running around like a headless chicken the week before xxx

You can organise mine for me if you like! I'm probably very behind compared to most people.

I'd love that, however I'm very uptight so would get snappy if you didn't do what I wanted lmao. Not great when it's YOUR day x

haha! I'm so excited, I will get round to organising more stuff eventually. We have a co-ordinator sorting the day it's self out, so just the reception and other bits I need to do..

So we should be sorting stuff out now then? I could see his point to be honest- we've got 21 months to go and that feels like a very long time. I don't want to book a bunch of stuff to find next year I feel entirely different and want something else.

I booked my photographer 2 years ago, and got 2012 prices so there is an upside of booking early too :)

Are they definitely not "subject to change"? x

Nope got it in writing that it is at 2012 prices and what is quoted is the price I pay. With 10 weeks to go I emailed her at the beginning of the week to ask when they need payment and we have to pay what we thought was left so that's ok :)
