The direct debit for the mobile broadband went out today, other than that it was a NSD :)

The interest for cc1 and the loan was added on today so I have updated my signature - now over 15% :). I feel as though I'm properly beginning to get somewhere now.

Payday today so budget looks like this
    - £8.72 payment to cc1
    - £10 to OH for my share of his niece's birthday present
    - £15 for contact lens direct debit
    - £20 for toiletries/socks
    - £56.74 for electricity bill
    - £20 for bus fares (will be able to claim this back though as I'm working somewhere different next week and my fares getting there and back will be reimbursed)
Leaving me around £18 for food and anything else.

We got the invitation through today for the next wedding which is in August and am realising that I will have to start saving more money as I don't think the money in the fund already will cover the hen weekend coming up and all the wedding expenses too :(

Just remembered that my friends wee boy turns 4 this week so will get him a toy/book. Budget for this is £5 which then really doesn't leave much for food, however, hopefully I won't spend the full budgeted amount on bus fares/toiletries so will save some money there.

I forgot to say in yesterday's post that it was another NSD.

Spends today so far are £17.70 on toiletries/socks. I will need £2.20 for bus fare tonight as I don't finish work until 10 but that should hopefully be it.

    :)

Thanks for your comment ani*fan, generally plodding on fairly well but I feel today has been a bit of a fail :(

I took a packed lunch into work but then decided I didn't want it and spent £3.80 on food from the bakery. I then spent £2.20 on bus fare home from work. On the way from the bus stop to the flat I went into the shop and came out having spent £10.72 on a few things for tea tonight and utter rubbish. I also did not go to the gym :( Yep definitely a fail - oh well tomorrow is another day and it will be better!

I think I have just being overdoing it recently, I seem to feel tired all the time and it really doesn't help my motivation, however, I only have 3 shifts left and then off on holiday for 6 days :) so hopefully will feel better after that.

I managed to go to the gym yesterday and also had a NSD (other than £5.70 on bus fare which I can claim back on expenses) so pleased with that.

Today I paid £60 for the upcoming hen weekend (budgeted for from the fund), spent £5.70 on bus fare (which again can be claimed back) and spent £4.43 on toilet paper, scourers and milk.

Today's spends were £5.70 on bus fare, £6 on the tv licence and a £4 payment to cc1. I now have around £65 to pay on cc1 to get below £1000 :) I will make my usual £50 payment when I get paid at the end of the month so just £15 to find.

I spent this afternoon after work trawling around some of the charity shops trying to find an outfit for the upcoming hen weekend, however, I failed miserably. It is an 80s theme so may have to try a few of the vintage shops. It will unfortunately cost a lot more though and I really don't want to spend money on an outfit which I probably won't wear again.

I weighed myself tonight and have put on over half a stone :( OH has also put on a bit of weight so we have been discussing trying to eat healthier and lose some weight together. A visit to the gym is definitely on the cards for tomorrow.

I went to the gym this morning and planning to go again tomorrow. I have booked myself in for a kettle bells class in the morning so will have to make sure I'm up nice and early.

I managed to find a dress today in the first vintage shop I went into and I have to say I absolutely love it. It cost £24 so really pleased with that as well, was expecting to have to spend more. The shop had some really nice things - I had to leave quickly before I spent any more :) I also spent £8 on some very bright coloured makeup. Both of these spends were from the hen/wedding fund so technically a NSD.

I got my payslip from my 2nd job so will receive £90.85 tomorrow. I will need £17.94 for my phone bill and £16.99 for my gym membership. Me and OH are planning to go to A*di tomorrow morning to get shopping so am budgeting £25 for this. Will get a wee list ready to take with us.

I will be receiving a pay rise from my 2nd job at the start of June :j Not sure how much yet but any extra money is a bonus!

I was away in Edinburgh over the weekend for the hen party and had a fantastic time. I had budgeted £100 for it and have come home with a little left over :D. However I will need to get my saving hat on as once I have paid for the accommodation for the wedding (which I should really do this week) that will wipe out what's left of the fund.

I plan to start putting by £20 a week into the wedding fund and £10 into the electricity fund as it will be due again around the same time as the wedding.

I got my payslip through for my monthly wage and I'll get paid on Thursday. I will sit down later today and make a budget for it.
