£16.88 spent today - wasn't planning to spend quite so much but there was some good YS bargains. I got 2 packs of rolls, 2 packs of teacakes, 2 loaves and 2 packs of fish. Was feeling pleased with myself until I got home and OH pointed out that it wouldn't all fit in the freezer. Have just about managed to squeeze it all in apart from the bread but must not buy anything else for a while. Since I was spending anyway, I got some stamps (£6.92) and some toiletries (£4.07).

Went for a run after work and planning another one for Sunday :)

Took advantage of having use of a car yesterday and went to @ldi to stock up on heavy/bulky things so grocery budget now stands at £106.86/£150.

Day off work today and I haven't left the flat other than to pop some recycling in the bin outside. Had a lovely day mostly just watching rugby (we lost but a good game to watch). OH was out at a friends for most of the day and then cooked a lovely roast dinner as I'm working tomorrow.

A fairly spendy day yesterday as we finally got round to booking our weekend away next month - £90.50 for travel and accommodation :money: right pleased with that :D. I also spent £17 on moisturiser (ordered online, 15% off) and booked travel tickets for going home to see my parents before Christmas - £23.50.

Had a super productive day at work yesterday which has left me feeling calmer. First time I've felt on top of everything for ages. OH and his friend have done the garden so it looks much better, just need to tackle inside the flat now ;)

My sister is up this evening so the plan is to go out for tea and then pop round to see my gran. Will go and have a look for a voucher to make tea cheaper.

a great positive post, go you

Thanks INOD :). I feel like the last month or so I've not really been myself - tired, stressed and moaning a lot (poor OH must be sick of listening to me) but I do now feel in a much more positive frame of mind :D

Had tea out with my sister which was lovely, found a 25% voucher for the place we wanted to eat and she treated me :D so only spend for today was bus fare out to my Gran's.

So yesterday I bought a car :D and picked it up today. Will need to update my signature with the added debt :o however really happy with my wee car.

Payslip is through and it's quite a bit more than usual due to payrise, overtime and back pay, very useful at this time of year :D so will need to do a budget for next month.

Thanks monz, love my wee car :D

So I've updated my signature with the new debt - £797.68 on a credit card for the deposit and insurance plus 60 monthly payments of £146.82. Plan is to pay off the credit cards then I need to check if I can overpay on the car finance, if I can't I'll save up to pay it off. I've made a wee payment to the car debt of £4.64.

Spends since I last posted are £30.42 on food, £25 on fuel and £59.49 on OH's big present for Christmas, glad I've finally made a start of Christmas shopping.

    Budget for December - £1994.76
    - £1250 usual bills (car payment included in this)
    - £200 food (£50 extra for Christmas treats :D)
    - £100 Edinburgh trip
    - £100 fuel (no idea how much I'll need for this so going to budget high)
    - £50 parking permit
    - £25 sponsor for my sister (she's doing a sleep out to raise money for a homeless charity)
    - £75 electricity bill
    - £50 emergency fund (really need to get a proper emergency fund up and running now I've got the car)
    - £144.76 debt repayments (split £100 to flat debt and £44.76 to car flat)

Any money saved I'll put towards getting some new winter clothes, if not I'll wait until December's pay.
